Love this PC!
Love this PC. I have 2 of the 2GB ram 32GB HD that I bought 5 years ago for the same price as this 4GB 64GB HD. And this one comes with Windows 10 Pro whereas the other one came with Windows 10 Home. I believe the primary difference is Pro comes with Bitlocker device encryption. I ended up dual booting Linux Mint with this Windows 10 after disabling device encryption. Windows 10 definitely needs at least 4GB ram. This is a good value. And it’s compact.Definitely pleased with my purchase.

Inaccurate Product Description
Love the size of this and have owned one similar for years. I saw that this was back in stock and decided to pick up another however, the description on the site is inaccurate. The site clearly says the Kangaroo Plus Mini PC has Window 10 Pro installed but the version I received is the No OS Edition which would require me to purchase an operating system. On top of that because this product is discontinued I am not sure how to obtain the drivers that would be needed. Buy at your own risk. I am giving this 3 stars as I am sure it is just as good as the original but would have been nice to know I would have to purchase an operating system and install drivers prior to purchasing.

Most elegant mini pc with its own battery - Is it back from the dead?
Is the Kangaroo back? I thought it was discontinued and availability has been zero for such a long time. Perhaps the growing popularity of min pcs change Infocus' mind and resurrected it.What I like? Its elegant. It looks more like a smart phone than a mini pc. It would have been a great WIndows Smart Phone if it had a screen. Its portable. It has its own battery. Its beautiful. What I don't like? Storage. You can only add an SD card to get additional storage. Memory is not expendable. Its really slow. However, I found a tweak that makes it run over the 1.44GHZ and ever since I made that system change - I've been satisfied with its performance. The battery does get hot. This mini pc was meant for casual use - emai, web surfing, streaming. Its a great tool for those who travel for work. You can save files in the device and plug it in a tv or monitor and you're set. Great for college students. Just add more storage.I've been hoping for the Kangaroo to be resurrected. Im really interested on its next iteration. WIll it be Apple like - keeping its elegant design while at the same tme adding more value to the consumer? If the Kangaroo is back I hope its next device blows everyone away.. I can't wait to see it.

Nice hardware...
Really nice piece of hardware. Too bad it was discontinued. Difficult to get drivers for it. Suggest backing up the entire emmc to a raw bit for bit image, then backing up the drivers.

Overheats and Freezes / Shuts Off
This little PC overheats and just freezes even under no load. It has the same thermal management issue as its predecessor the Kangaroo PC. I thought on the Kagaroo Plus it would be resolved but it isn't. I suspect they do some magic so under Windows so its lows down and it might work, but even with the lightest Ubuntu running off a live USB just idling this gets super hot and eventually shuts off due to thermal management. Bought a BMAX fanless PC and its working perfectly with the same setup.

Everything is good with the Kangaroo Plus Mini PC, except the battery capacity, It has only 2200mAh
How I use this Kangaroo Plus Mini Pc?-I turn it on with battery charged at 100% and nothing connected to it: No screen, no keyboard, no mouse, not battery charger; It is just the CPU connected to WiFi.-I access the CPU via Chrome Remote Desktop from my smartphone when I need to access it (rarely).-I run my own software wich demands 400MB of RAM. Total RAM used: 65%. Total CPU used usually is at 60% (Windows Task Manager). My software was designed to send me personalized emails so I don't need to see what is the CPU doing at one screen. With these conditions described above, the Kangaroo Plus battery has an autonomy of 3.5h until it decreases to 5%During those 3.5h of stable operation the CPU is practically cold.- If I run another app as youtube and watch it with an screen connected to the CPU, The battery will drain faster. If you connect the battery charger at this conditions, whole CPU will get really hot and in my case, I had to disconnect the charger to avoid risks of failure or battery damage. The CPU run very well Windows 10. I had no lags with the system itself. Eveything is smooth as happens in my laptop or desktop. The only problem with this product is its battery capacity. Its about 2200mAh as I read on some web and that is not enough for a mobile device. That is the battery capacity of a Galaxy S4.I you need to use a really mobile pc for 2h or 3h running some not demanding software, this product is for you. Its battery limitations(get hot if you run more softwares or apps) will not let you perform more activities. If you use the battery charger while you use the CPU, the battery will get burned in the time and this CPU will not get usable soon.Update 15/09/2022Since two weeks ago, I cannot charge the mini PC battery anymore. The battery charger is ok. I have connected the battery charger to the mini pc 2h to 3h, the led in the mini pc is on , indicating battery charging is in process, but the mini pc cannot be turned on. The mini pc is trying to start but, since it has not enough energy in the battery , mini PC turns off inmediatly. I have tryed to charge the mini pc by its micro USB port , but the process occurs in the same way with same results. My mini pc is now out of service by battery problems.
