Did actually leave me feeling refreshed.
Firstly this set is nicely packaged with the contents held securely so it'll survive being shaken if you gift it. Next up the product packaging is sturdy I've dropped the body wash in the shower and it survived crashing into an enamel surface. Then there's the scent, which having bought a face scrub from this range before I know is nice but I'm actually getting slightly addicted to it. It's got notes of zesty fruitiness and there's a back note of something woody according to my nose. it's not overpowering, it's not a hyper-masculine aroma but it's not like anything marketed at women either. it sits in the middle somewhere and that's exactly what you want really. A little of the face wash goes a long way, we have had water here so it didn't get up a huge lather but i can tell if we had softer water it'd lather up well. the body wash is quite thin and you don't need a lot to get your whole body washed. I'm used to thicker shower gels and the viscosity of this one took me by surprise, barely needed to squeeze the container to get any out. So I know at the end there won't be wastage. The moisturiser comes in a pot with an ingenious lid that if you turn it one way pumps out a good dollop, but turned the other gives you a very modest little spot, that's a really cool feature because you don't always want a massive dollop. I would never have expected that on an inexpensive product range. I'm super impressed with it. the moisturiser cream is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. great if you're in a hurry first thing in the morning. It too has the really nice, fresh aroma. Whether you get this boxed set of product or the individual items I'm going to say that for a guy going into skincare for the first time this is probably a really good entry point. I felt fresh for hours after using these products Definitely feels like the thing for a 9-5 life.
