TRASH!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have purchased 4 of these zippers. Two have done this. Why I bought them again I have no idea. I’m a seamstress and put zippers in all the time. These zippers are awful. DO NOT PURCHASE. I now have to spend another hour plus replacing this peace of trash. :/

One cheap zipper saved one expensive coat.
I was able to fix up a pricey winter coat by removing the old zipper and using this one instead. It does take some extra work to carefully seam rip layers in the front of a coat, but it turned out just fine. I've learned from my mistakes and made sure I pinned the two sides first while this was zipped up to make sure they lined up just right, then unzipping it to sew the sides separately. I really like the quality and weight of the sport zippers for coats and it's hard to find these longer lengths in stores. This ended up being a little better than the original zipper that came with the coat too. So far there haven't been any problems with this new zipper.

Great zippers!
I wondered how accurate the described measurement was and it's pretty close. I went for it and ordered two of these and am very happy. I calculated that I would need 26 inches of zipper, not counting extra fabric at end and that's basically what I got. I measured them out to be more like 25 7/8 inches, but that's pretty close and both the zippers were exactly the same. I was concerned that the extra fabric at end would be included in the measurement, but apparently it is not, which is very pleasing. They are a great price and after unzipping and zipping back together both zippers only once, they look and feel very nice, sturdy and of high quality and longevity. Before purchasing, I read the reviews and noticed someone complaining that it was plastic and not metal and felt misled and would have preferred metal. I feel the opposite and feel like metal zippers are more likely to pinch and rust and bend and the plastic ones like these hold up to moisture and abuse. (like putting them in a washing machine) Once I actually install them in my project and really put them to some use, I'll update my review. Thank you!

it's a zipper
it's a plastic zipper, but still pretty good. I'd recommend going for a metal zipper for sturdier jackets, but this did fine for my bomber jacket, which was on the lighter side.

Probably a fine zipper - but too coarse for my needs
You would never know from the inadequate photos that this was a very coarse toothed zipper. Not what I needed for a dressy jacket. (Not outerwear.) So, I returned it. The zipper was probably fine, but the description and photos were not.

For womens wear!
I purchased this to repair a man's rain hoodie. Without thinking to check, I ordered and repaired jacket before realizing pull is on left. Reading the questions NOW, I see there is confusion regarding this detail. Men's on right. Women's on left. I received a woman's zipper.Too late now! I believe this information should be noted, obvious, and correct! There seems to be inconsistency reading other reviews: RIGHT OR LEFT, PLASTIC OR METAL. MINE IS PLASTIC AND LEFT SIDE PULL/WOMEN'S WEAR.

color
This navy isn't a true navy color. I had the same issue in the stores and that is why I didn't purchase this there. I will make this work it is not the sellers fault it is the manufactorer

Good zipper
Not what I thought I ordered. I was sure I ordered an invisible type. Having said that, it's for a Spider-Man costume for my grandson. His other zipper broke. I went ahead and used this one and it's very sturdy and in the end I'm glad it happened.
