Not just for Smith and Wesson’s.
Sure keeps your thumbs from getting raw. I do steel challenge shooting twice a month so I load a lot of .22s and originally bought it for my model 41. It was a perfect fit. Decided I didn’t want to put an optic on it so I bought a Ruger mk IV 22/45 lite. This magazine loader also works on the mags for that weapon.

A jewel
This little tool works great on my Ruger MKIV mags and also on my S&W Model 41 mags. It's really a finger saver.I wear it around my neck on a lanyard I got from a casino.

The product does as advertised.
I could not ask for more. This product is easy to use and makes the task it was made to do so much easier using it.

Wrong for S&W model 41
Either I got wrong item or just not working with model 41 mags. Too small for these mags.

Be Careful!
Yes it works, but the plastic material isn’t hard or slick so it doesn’t easily slide up and down the magazine. And there is the "launch factor", meaning if your thumb slips off the loader while you have the magazine spring compressed, (and it will happen) the loader will fly 10+ feet up and away. If you are lucky it won’t hit you in the face or end up down range or in the brush. I will be adding a lanyard and belt clip to mine.I see HKS 22-S (just ordered one) offers one that "locks" onto the magazine. SIDE NOTE: there is one for Ruger .22 that locks on preventing the problem (I don’t see a brand name on mine).Stay safe and pointed down range.
