My kid loves construction, and I was given a real, kid-sized work table. I set up a little "workshop" with push lights in my shed, and I bought this set for him to use. He was SO EXCITED, going through every piece in the set, oooh-ing and aaaah-ing over everything. The quality seems good. The little hammer is really heavy, actually. Which, honestly helps, when a younger kid is trying hammer (as the force is minimized with the shorter handle...the heaviness can help compensate for that). they are real tools. this is TOTALLY a giftable item, as long as the parents of the kid receiving this is okay with real items. One suggestion would be to buy some little DIY kits and/or get some scrap pieces of wood and some nails to "play" with, and create a space / place to safely use these tools. Since they aren't plastic, but they are for kids, they can definitely do some damage if a kid takes it and "plays" with it on his/her own like they might with a plastic set. Set some boundaries or monitor while they play...or both!!! :)

Awesome set of tools for my 5 year old grandson.

Nice variety of basic tools for a child. My 7-year-old grandson spent 20 minutes inspecting & arranging them in his NAPA tool bag. He "modeled" the tool belt for all of us.

Overall, this tool set is excellent. They are all real tools, so your kids can actually help with projects. I would say this is definitely worth the money and everything seems durable. I love the little hammer, it is perfect for small hands. My only issue is that my set came with two flat heads instead of a flat head and a Phillips head screwdriver. I reached out and requested a replacement, so we will see what happens. I purchased the set for my nephew's birthday because he is always out in their yard and around the house, helping my brother and my dad with projects. I can't wait for him to open it!

This tool blet was a great gift kids learning how to use tool! The bonus part is theybare actually real tools that can be uses to fix or take apart, every day things.

Grandkids love the tool sets. I ordered 2 sets one was missing the pliers and I contacted customer service and they handled it! Very durable and great for little hands!

My nephew turned 4 and loves to build things with his grandpa. These tools are real. He uses them with supervision, but they will last a very long time and are of excellent quality. Some of the other items in the kit were also a big hit - the goggles to protect the eyes, the tape measure - my nephew knew exactly what every item was and was very excited. The tool belt itself was a cute idea, but I'm not sure he'll wear it.

I thought these were play toys but they are real!!! My son loves it and even my husband! Haha

A gift so hasn't been used yet but the quality and prompt delivery were excellent!

Tools are actual tools. Built a bird house with my son with just these tools.
