Women Traditional Puebla Mexican Embroidered Blouse

I finally found the white cotton embroidered Mexican blouse of my dreams. Nice lightweight fabric that is not sheer. Fits is generous but not too baggy. The length is perfect and I love the side vents for wearing it untucked. I have not washed it yet, so I’ll update this if there’s a problem. Happy purchase.

I’ve been looking for embroidered tops for a while And hadn’t been able to find any so I thought I’d check on Amazon I bought one just to see how it was made and how it fit and to see what would happen if I washed it. Even though this is machine embroidery, it’s still a good quality and not too stiff. I did Tear off all of the surplus interfacing backing the embroidery work and that helped reduce some of the stiffness so I would definitely recommend doing that. I machine washed the top on gentle with warm water and hung it to dry, and have washed it several times since then and it still looks as good as new and didn’t shrink. I normally wear a medium and I bought a medium and it fit me fine without being either too large or too small. I wear overalls a lot and it even looks cute with overalls. Because I liked it so much I bought it in a few other colors as well. This is just an aside, but I’m pretty sure I saw Erin Napier in an episode of Hometown or one of their spin-off shows wearing this same shirt!

I love this top! It's perfect for our Mexican Fiestas! The fit is perfect. I just received it and haven't washed it yet. I hope it holds up in cold water.

This is machine embroidered, 100% cotton, but it isn’t very soft! It’s a bit scratchy and easily wrinkled.

Took a chance to order this top. It fits well, true to size to a little loose. I wanted a loose fit top that didn't restrict movement. I typically wear a size 22/24 tops and 44DD bra. I bought a XXXL I think the pleats offer great movement and shape to the top.I am 5'6 and the top fits just at the top of my hips.The material is breathable and lightweight. Great for the event I will be attending in a few weeks.Color is great very similar to what they have online.
