BOSCH 26CA Clear Advantage Beam Wiper Blade; 26" - Single

This wiper blade works great and gives a clean, streak free wipe. It fits perfectly and installs quickly with no hassle. They seem to be of high quality, however the installation instructions are not clear. They include a printed sheet of diagrams that are supposed to be clear for non readers, but I couldn’t complete the last step. Then I followed a link to a short video that had no narration, but instead annoying music. The video did not make the last step clear to me. It involves snapping an adapter into place. It took me at least half an hour of trial and error, repeatedly watching the video, swearing, and finally it snapped into place. Relieved, I assumed the second blade would go easily. NOPE! My experience with the first one did not transfer to the second one. I am not a novice, I’ve been an avid home mechanic for years. I’m sure that once one figures out the “trick” these would be great wiper blades. But if I buy them again it will be from a local retailer that offers free installation.

There has been no rain since I installed this. I used my windshield fluid to test it. So far it's doing well with clean swipe both up and down.

Ontime fast a nice wyper but didnt fit my boat arm so cant use it sad.

I learned something today and it might help you. I think this will apply to any car. The rubber on windshield wiper blade on my 2016 BMW x5 started to split and wasnt working right. I did a search for windshield wipers and ordered the drivers side and also the passenger side as i figured it was better to replace them both at the same time. The drivers side arrived a few days before the shorter passenger side one arrived. I disconnected to old one and put the new one on and it took all of 15 seconds. Super easy. But then i noticed the difference in the mount size between the OEM "J" hook mount and the new Bosch that i just got. Wasnt that happy about the difference. Maybe i should have spent the extra $30+ for OEM wipers from BMW. Oh well, too late. Fast forward 4 days and the passenger side wiper arrived. It also installed super easy, but then i started to look at the assembly a little closer and realized that i didnt need to buy wiper blades, i just needed the wiper blade inserts. Problem is i threw out the original drivers side a few days ago when i put the Bosch on. When looking here on amazon, OEM BMW wiper INSERTS are about $25 for the pair and i could have kept the much slimmer and nicer looking factory look. Too late now, however i did keep the passenger wiper blade holder and will now have to buy the OEM drivers side to revert back to the factory look. No rush on that though as these new blades work really nicely and am happy with the purchase even though with some more research, i would have just bought the wiper inserts and kept the nicer looking factory look. There is a plastic clip that needs to be positioned vertically in order for the blade to be attached to the car. The first time I ordered this the clip came off when I tried to move it. I called BOSCH customer support and was told to return it to Amazom and get another. I got another blade and went to an autoparts store to get help with the plastic clip and the same thing happed when a store employee tried to reposition the clip. Eventualy he snapped it back on and got the clip in the correct position so I c ould attach it to my car. The clip comes off easier than it should and even an auto parts employee who puts wiper blades on for customers had a hard time with the clip. Once attached to the car the blade works fine. I just hope the plastic clip will last.

I saw these tested on a YouTube video review, and decided to give them a try. I thought you got 2 blades in a pack, so I only ordered 1 "pack", which turned out to be 1 blade. In a funny way this gave me a chance to compare the 1 new blade against the other on the car: the new blade is definitely better.

I got this with the impression that it fits the Grand Cherokee L 2021 rear wiper but unfortunately it turned too long to fit

Purchased for a 2012 WRX, changed them over in a few minutes. These provide a clear window with no sound. Will have to wait and see how long they last.
