Old-School Goodness.
To say there's a lot of bang for your buck is an understatement. The adventures are well-thought-out, and the background and storylines are engaging. It would probably best suit a DM that has some experience, but I don't think there's any real juggling that even a novice can't work out, if they're familiar with the concepts and rules. If I had to make a critique, it's that it could stand more artwork, especially some specific to the module. But that's a small thing compared to the quality and cost. Even if you're just looking for ideas for your own campaign, this is well worth it.

Excellent product and great value for money.
If you liked Keep on the Borderlands then this will be right up your alley. It has a nicely developed community with several well designed dungeons. Easy to use as a starting point for a campaign. If you want to check out the product you can download the PDF for free. The print version is an excellent product and quite inexpensive.

Great Setting and interesting opportunities for adventures, would like more detail
I have yet to run it but upon a quick read through its an interesting world and considering what i paid for it, totally worth it. I would like to see more expansion on the rest of the world but I guess that's up to me as the GM at a certain point. I enjoyed reading about all of the different cities/areas and it would be nice to have some more detail (such as layouts and adventures) for the areas outside of morgansfort as well. Overall great for what it is.

An old school style of adventure
Morgansfort is an adventure designed for 2 to 8 players. It is heavily inspired by the D&D classic "Keep on the Borderlands" adventure module.ProsIt includes 3 sample adventures that are clearly laid out and does not require a ton of prep work to run. I also like that it includes hit boxes for each of the monsters that the GM can track the damage.ConsThe players are often overwhelmed by the number of monsters (in the 1st adventure there is a room w/ 29 kobolds). Morgansfort doesn't offer any GM advice on how to adjust the number of monsters in a location based on the number of players, so it's up to the GM to figure this out on their own. For an experienced GM it's doable, for a new GM it isn't easy.

Awesome
I've played table top RPGs on and off since the early 80's. I've worked with several different gaming systems and I've been really disappointed with what I've seen from the industry over the past decade. The random changes to game mechanics simply to nudge people into buying new rule books is infuriating. If they had focused more energy on creating better modules, they could have made more money and encouraged more people to start playing. This open source system does just that. It's a bare bones system you can modify to reflect the kind of dungeon you want to run. It has several advantages for more experienced players but a steep learning curve for everyone else. Yes, you can down load this for free on-line. However, if you want it handy when you play, you really need a printed copy. It's actually cheaper to buy it here than it is to print it out and it has the added benefit of being nicely bound. You can still print the bits and pieces you might want to modify or have out but nothing beats having a real book for looking up details quickly.

Well Written and Extremely Fun
This is a very good campaign well written and fun to play. I won't give you any more details, but my players loved this campaign.

Fantastic Adventure For Very Little Money
Fantastic product! It stirs the imagination and begs for the ideas inside to be used, as written, or mined as a part your on-going campaign. I love it!!

What Fantasy RPGs should be.
It says "Don't buy this book!" on the back cover, but I say buy all the Basic Fantasy RPG books! It's a great system that really captures the flavor of the old basic and expert D&D box sets.

Buy!
If I is Basic Fantasy you need to buy! It's an RPG at cost, congrats to the authors, it's a work of love and makes it accessible to every pocket...

Awesome content
I haven't explored all the content in this campaign yet, but so far it's fantastic, especially considering the price. For what I paid, it is actually cheaper than printing it out on my printer.

One of my groups favourite BFRPG modules
One of my groups favourite BFRPG modules, Morgansfort itself is a very well designed base of operations that provides a solid introduction to the game. If you are new to the game I would recommend it as a starting module for both GM and players alike. While some parts admittedly did feel like mazes built by psychopath wizards with way too much time and money on their hands, It helps keep the players on their toes and allows the GM to build their own story around the area.On the dungeons in the module, The Old Island Fortress is a pleasure to run for low level characters with a large variety of adversaries as well as some of the staples of the genre and providing several different boss fights for the GM to choose from. The treasure within is of a level that is balanced for the players at levels 1-2 and will keep them lean and hungry for adventure, preventing them from being able to buy all the equipment they would want while still feeling like a sizeable sum.The Nameless dungeon is also quite fun although I haven't been able to fully run it yet as my players keep getting distracted and moving on to other areas. The third dungeon is quite short but also interesting, incorporating lots of undead which can be a significant challenge depending on party composition as a wizard that relies primarily on sleep and charm person may soon find themselves severely outmatched.
