This timer is great. Easy to hear. If a timer can’t be heard it is worthless!!!!
This one is just fine. I may get another one. I use it for timing cooking. Thank you.

Annoyingly loud. TOO loud.
This is our third Salter timer. We were very happy with our first one and bought a second one for our RV. Alas, our first one finally died after 22 years of hard use. This new one is okay for keeping time, but it is freakishly loud -- I mean, heart-clutchingly loud. My friend with PTSD was in the kitchen yesterday and when it went off she ran screaming from the room. Although there is a 3-level loudness setting, there doesn't seem to be a way to make this timer any quieter. The next 22 years will be nerve-racking.

Don't waste your money!
Awful! No way to figure this thing out so I can use it. Way too expensive and even male family members cannot figure out how to set it.

Too Loud
It's too loud, even on the quietest setting. It's like a smoke detector alarm.

Doet zijn werk en het maakt een luid geluid, voldoende om boven het kookgeluid te komen. De duurzaamheid moet nog blijken want we hebben het nog maar enkele weken.

Brilliant little timer! I bought one of these for my elderly mother who is deaf and she can hear it at the loudest volume even when she's in another room. I ordered this one for myself and just the lowest volume is fine for me, haven't needed anything louder yet. Maybe if I was out in the garden or upstairs I might use it. So easy to use with a very clear display.

By day, the magnet holds it securely on the fridge. And when the sun comes out, it is perfect for BBQ time in the garden. Large easy to read display. Selectable alarm loudness. Simple to use. Was a little worried that the display is always on but as it is LCD, battery drain is not an issue. Now it it is finding new uses as timer for when my daughter is taking a “break” from school homework. Glad that I purchased this...my daughter, less so :o)
