Monroe Quick-Strut 172144 Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly for Honda CR-V

They fit perfectly on my CRV with no issue. Didn't fix my problem though. Turned out my new sway bar link was loose under heavier load then I could replicate by hand. It took a large pry bar to find it. Oh well. These feel great

GREATLY improved ride. Installed all four in under two hours. Needed to get an alignment on my 2005 CR-V, but money saved on parts and installation more than made up for that.

Item came on time and as for the packaging it had a tear, the strut was damaged, thank god…quality is really good, strut is right for the year and model suv…Moores strut are good for value of $$$, so noise level whats that.. thats how quiet it is.. as for performance and durability well find out shortly hahahaha

Follow up: So after I swapped out the spring on both sides, my ride height is back to normal. My camber is back to normal. This completely defeated the purpose of a complete assembly. -‐-----------‐-------------------------------------- Once the installation is completed with both new Monroe Quick Struts, my front is higher by about 2 inches and you can see the positive camber with just your eyes. I took my car in for an alignment and with some adjustments of undersized pinch bolt the tech was able to get the driver side within specs but the right side is off 1.9 positive camber. The tech said that even camber kit will not fix that. By this time I have put about 300 miles on my right side tire and I can now see the steel on the outter edge. Tire is destroyed and will cost more to fix. I took right side quick strut out and compared the length. Everything seems to be at the same height uncompressed by the car weight. My only guess is that the spring is too stiff and when its compressed, it sits higher. I am pass the return period so I am going to use the old spring on the new struts. I will update once its done.

Ordered front left and right assembly. Very easy to install, fit perfect. Ride and steering feels good now.

2006 crv, perfect. The description said monroe shock, i didn't see the name on the struts stamped,but quick struts. But wor grate.

The manufacture has changed the design of the boot and bump stop. The part numbers have not changed nor has the box. You won’t know which you’re getting till you open the box. I've confirmed this with the manufacturer. I ordered both fronts and received one of each. I don't care which design I have, I just want a matched pair. I don't know yet how I'll resolve this.

Quick struts are meant to install as is without having to remove the old spring and install a new strut on it. Both of the ones I received had to be disassembled and turned in order to install. Fortunately I have the proper tools to do so but if I knew this I would have just ordered the bare strut and saved the money for the "convenience" of R and R. Not impressed.
