More like a pamphlet than a book
The Kindle price point is fine for this publication. It's an easy read in one sitting and provides the most concise and articulate instruction on brewing techniques I've come across. If it weren't so well written, leaving me wishing for more (like a great cup of coffee) I'd feel a little cheated. But it fully satisfies and, really, there's not much more to say about coffee brewing than Johnson provides. Not flowery or poetic, Johnson gets directly to the point and teaches well. There is more brewing equipment out there than the author discusses, but, honestly, unless you want your kitchen to look like a laboratory, you don't need to go in that direction to get the greatest cup of coffee at home. Be cautioned, however, if you follow the directions in this book you'll seldom get a "decent" cup of coffee when you dine out.

Great resource for beginners and professionals
How To Make Coffee is an excellent resource for anyone interested in making better coffee. For those who have never made coffee before to those who make coffee everyday this guide deserves a spot on your counter. This book isn't just for beginners though, experienced coffee people will love this book as a quick reference guide. I'm a cafe owner, and keep this book around for when I'm trying to dial in a new brew, and I also be using this book to train new employees especially those who are new to coffee preparation. It's easy enough to use first thing in the morning, and it will help you make better coffee.

Fine
It was fine. The recipes look simple enough. I would guess good for a beginner like me. Not much else.

Value = $1
Each page is about 5 sentences long and there are only about a dozen pages. This is one of the most overpriced items I have ever purchased. Please save your money and google this information for free!

very helpful!
This is utilitarian, interesting, and well put together. I look forward to future expansions addressing different popular brewing devices such as stovetop "espresso"/Moka pots, aeropresses, home espresso machines, etc.
