This cube shelf is solidly designed, made of 4 pieces of hard pvc plastic, with great corner connection pieces that connect tightly into the hollow ends of each piece, and is wide and deep enough to hold just about anything you want to put up on a wall or display on a desk or shelf. Due to wifi signal issues on one end of our home, we moved our wifi and security camera modems to the center of our house which is a laundry room…placing it above the home’s smart panel system where an empty wifi cable outlet and an electrical outlet had already been installed when the house was built. But because the modems can’t just be left hanging from the top part of the wall, over where the door opens, we needed a sturdy and protective shelf to surround them and this was the perfect solution! Installation was easy, however, I was concerned that the tiny little hardware that was supplied with this cube shelf, wasn’t strong enough to hold even the weight of the cube itself, so I replaced with self-drilling anchors and screws with heads that fit into the openings on the back corners of the cube. Problem resolved!

You don’t need any tools to actually put the cubes together - they come in with plastic “teeth” where you just push everything into place.The shelves aren’t symmetrical cubes - they are more like rectangles.They also come with a “wall hanging template” paper to make it easier to hand so you don’t have to take a bunch of measurements to make sure your screw holes will align with the holes in the cubes.

The brackets are white, but the shelf parts are obviously off white... they literally do not match each other! Its pathetic! While it looks like it would be very study, it looks like absolutely crap because the shelves do not match the end brackets- and the brackets DO show! They edge the entire square and are very much seen, so YES, it does very much matter! I missed the return deadline by 3 days because i had gotten its part of a gift basket for my granddaughter's room make over...

If you have a fat cat do not get these shelves. LOL! These are plastic shelves. You put the screws in the wall with wall anchors. The mounts are snapped into the plastic shelves and they slide onto the screws. The plastic mounts themselves aren't super strong and they don't fasten to the shelves all that well - so if your fat cat jumps on the shelf it is most certainly coming down with broken mounts so you will not be able to put it back up. If you don't happen to have a shelf jumping animal in your house keep in mind that the weight limit for these is probably about 5 pounds. Cool idea with poor implementation.

I'm not a handy person and I expected this to be like a typical Ikea build up. Everything was straight forward and easy to build until Step 5, totally lost me there. But I figured it out and finally realize that the caps should be taken off on each corner. They're just thin plastic pieces that covered the 4 pre-punctured holes.

Floating cubes shelves I got them for my bathroom to give me a little extra storage on the wall these were very easy to install very sturdy very heavy duty I highly recommend if anybody’s looking for a little extra storage in the bathroom there’s a great floating cube shelves

I just noticed that the description says that it comes with 2 shelves, so luckily I had ordered the exact amount I needed, but now I'm a little pissed because according to the description I should have paid half the price for 4 shelves.Anyway, the anchors provided for these shelves absolutely suck. They don't expand so when you try to put the screws in they just spin or fall into the wall. I am having to go to the store to get much larger anchors to install these shelves because of the big holes the useless anchors left.I like the shelves themselves but on closer inspection they look cheaper than the pictures.I definitely feel cheated that I paid $30 per shelf with all the trouble this has been. For plastic shelves they are not worth $30 each and I would have been much more satisfied if it was 2 for $30 as in the description.

Tends to fight a bit assembling.. Sturdy and just right for my space. Need to buy one more for height.
