NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick, Hunk

Goes on sooo smooth. I've used this lipstick before - probably ten years ago and was excited to find it again. I wanted a true bright cherry red. This is the exact right color. The name on my return sticker said 19 - Fire Stick but the name on the actual lipstick tube is Big Cherry, so I'm not sure if there was a name change, or if this color has been discontinued? I wanted a real LIPSTICK. Not a lippy or a gloss. It's almost impossible to find actual lipsticks in stores anymore! A few things I liked about this lipstick: - doesn't dry out my lips like so many other lip products - Lasts a fairly long time (several hours) -Doesn't smudge for ME...BUT I am also very careful with it, and don't eat after applying it It would probably leave a cute stain on a clear glass - you have to be careful with any lipstick - it's meant to be moist and not matte, so act accordingly! Feels sooo smooth on my lips. I want to buy ten more! Just in case they ever discontinue this color. NYX is a CRUELTY FREE brand! I love it. I ONLY support cruelty free cosmetics. There's no reason not to- these days, you can find a CF DUPE for anything you want! I took pictures without having any other makeup on, which I normally wouldn't do, but wanted to just show the true color of it against my skin tone.

This was a pretty shade it’s not the name I was looking for but this is what came up maybe they changed the name 🤷🏽‍♀️….. at any rate I’m happy! 😊

Buttery soft. Love it. Great long lasting color

Beautiful color, very creamy. It is not matte, and does not dry down at all, so it transfers a lot. This is not a lipstick to wear if you want something that you won't have to touch up. But, they are very gentle on the lips, and are staining, so you still get a pretty tone to your lips when it does come off. I like it for when my lips have been abused from a more drying lipstick.

I purchased this lipstick as soon as I could find it on Amazon! I was really excited to try the trendy, stylish black cherry/burgundy lip color that's been prevalent on the runway and in Hollywood. I found it to be quite wearable with my light porcelain skin. I used NYX's Retractable Lip Liner in Dark Red and didn't have any problems with the color. Make sure your lips are exfoliated and use a little balm underneath. The color lasted over six hours and didn't need a touch up. I did put a little balm on top after that because my lips felt a little dry, but the color did not come off. There was no bleeding. The shape of the lipstick and the precise point made it super easy to precisely apply it and cover the lipliner. I've heard that the nude and light pink colors aren't as nice but that's pretty much how every light color is. I'd definitely recommend this to someone looking to make a bold statement.

I expected this to be a darker purple but it turns out more of a hot pink color. Also, there was so much hype about the Nyx Butter Lipsticks that I thought it would be great. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I had to apply it about four times in order to get a good layer of color, but the color was off. I can say that this will last almost all day because it stains your lips. I am interested in trying other colors, hopefully more of a purple color next time! :)

I have both Snow Cap and Candy Buttons, and they are easily my favorite pinky nude lipsticks. I have medium toned lips, so lots of nudes make me look completely dead or like I have concealer on my lips. Not these! The formula is nice and moisturizing. They do need to be reapplied every 2-3 hours, but for the price, I am very happy! Considering the pigmentation, shade, and moisturizing formula you get for such a low price -- this lipstick deserves 5 stars :)

Afternoon heat is NOT the same color as mary jane's, the color they claim is it’s replacement. Afternoon heat is maroon, mary jane’s is Red.

Gorgeous ! La couleur est trop belle et le ral est facile à appliquer, il glisse comme du beurre sur les lêvres, je comprends pourquoi NYX appelle ce ral butter lipstick. Il a aussi une odeur agréable. J'adore !
