These are the perfect size for collecting shells at the beach. I bought them for grandkids and the adults used them ,too. They are well made so they will be used for many trips to the beach.

The net size it self is a great size and scoops a lot of bait, it’s the perfect size and also the metal rim did not rust in salt water, the only complain I have is somehow I ended up with a couple small holes in the net after a little over a month of use, so just be cautious and keep is in a safe place where it can’t get cut.

We buy these types of nets every year for catching newts (safely returned) at our favorite campground paying $1 less for a wire half as thick attached to a cheap bamboo stick and half of them are broken before the weekend is over, but we expect to get a lot more use out of this one. Not a professional net, but sturdier than a toy. Colors do vary. Was hoping for pink, but got blue and gold which is fine too.

I did not have the option to select a color during ordering and it's my fault for assuming that since my account is held by a man that a blue item would be sent--wrong! My son, who is 9, has refused to use this so now I have to hurry and find another to buy before we leave for the beach in 6 days.Update... after my review Amazon contacted me and said they would send another net out ASAP and to just keep the pink one. My niece will make great use of this while we are at the beach together. My son is not 100% happy because it is not blue but he will use the purple gladly. I am satisfied with how this played out and I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5.We have not tested the product yet but soon as we do I'll update with the quality. Overall we started off rough but have met a mutual agreement one of which my 9 year old will not cry over LOL!

Sturdy. A little larger than what I thought.

It is a nice minnow net but way to big to fit into any minnow bucket. It would work well in a cooler or live well.

The net appears to be well made and has proven to be so a couple of months into use. Time will tell!Primarily used for landing fresh-water fish and trying to catch minnows and works well for both. I can see it also being used for catching insects - but there are probably better options if that is the primary use intended.The mechanism for extending the handle for use and reducing it for storage also seems to be durable.Overall, we are happy with the Ego net.

I purchased this bait net to use as an in-pool debris net. It's much easier to clean our deep end using a small net than the long-handled pool net. You can leave the flexible rubber cap on the handle so it will float, which is a nice feature for a bait net. The yellow handle is constructed of fairly thick, sturdy plastic tubing and should hold up well. The metal net frame and nylon netting also appear to be well made. The net hole are pretty small, so this should be great for any live bait. It really captures the fine debris in the pool. This suits my needs perfectly and I would definitely recommend this net for both fishing and other scooping needs.

This product arrived with the packaging intact the net was broken. The handle was bent and also broken completely in half. For some reason it was shipped in a gigantic long package even though it has a telescoping handle and could have been sent collapsed. The handle looks so flimsy I think it would break soon upon use even if it had arrived intact. The item was also not as described. The net is a different shape. It is more elongated like a butterfly net which is not what I wanted. Not usable at all.

Did not really tought the color would be random... Photo should show every colors to prevent my error. Even if it's mentionned. It appears it came in pink for us... As it is for a boy (yes color stereotypes can apply for some of them event in 2020!) it is disapointing. Build quality is good overall for the price.

Everything is great.

Excellent quality product, i use it on a regular basis in northern Ontario and it withstands the fridgid outdoor temperatures.

My kids love this product and the product is well made enough to resist their hard usage!
