It is indeed small but so loud!

My daughter is a cross country runner, and goes on long runs by herself. She wanted something that would make her feel safer on a run, but not be too bulky. She also happens to really enjoy training our dog. This whistle was the perfect gift for her. She wears it for safety on runs, and uses it in dog training. She likes it so well, that she wears it all the time! Very durable construction, and functions just as it should. Good, quality product!

I am a 100% combat disabled veteran who is still mobile but also a fall risk if I'm not constantly paying attention. This small titanium whistle is perfect for me "just in case". Yes it is small but that is great. The sound is sufficient much like a smoke alarm; not LOUD like some may expect but high pitched and actually made my ears ring some. My dog will come to me immediately when I use it. So it's a bit pricey; it is worth it. I wear it on a chain around my neck and barely notice it is even there. I saw several of the negative reviews and can conclude that those people were expecting to get a LOUD whistle (like Fox40). This is a different sound and will be noticed by others when used. Very pleased with the purchase.

I'm a school teacher and I wanted loud whistle that was discreet. This whistle fits the bill. Very loud and super small. I can wear this on a lanyard and you can barely see it, but boy can you hear it. It came in titanium, so it seems like it'll last forever.

I’m an older woman who is somewhat handicapped and prone to fall in the middle of the night when I get up to use the bathroom. My husband takes out his hearing aids and can’t hear me call for him when I need help to get up. This whistle is literally a lifesaver. It is perfect for him to hear me.
