No Hassle SHA-256 Miner
Nice little miners, I have several. Seem to run best with an ATX PSU rather than power bricks (5-6 make a LOT of heat!). Only down side is these do produce a lot of hardware errors - around 3%. They max out at 290Mhz which produces about 34Gh/s. If you try a clock speed over 290, they revert to the native clock speed of 270Mhz. They run a little cooler laying on their sides, about 2-4c cooler.

Good little device
This is a decent device that gives a steady 34-35 Mh/s at freq 290. However, setup can be quite an ordeal, had to try 3 dif power supplies (it is 12v 5w but draws over 40 watts PSU should be at least 60w), 2 dif computers and literally hundreds of config files / driver combos before finding one that worked. And that was after spending many hours researching the device. The standard setup found on the web may or may not work for you, just be prepared to take some time with setup (took me a full day). Oh, and in the config file you use (cmd or bat) setting freq is NOT --anu it is --rmu and if you have more than one unit you will need the -s rockminer:all argument as well. While these things are listed as running at 270 -300, I have not been able to find any config that allows it to go above 290 (nearly all configs I tried resulted in a drop to default settings at 270). With a pool you can mine between 0.0006 and 0.003 BTC per day (depending on pool luck) with this device. (at curr difficulty as of 6/17/14). Update 8/3/14 Now that cgminer, bfgminer and official Rockminer fork have all been updated these are now simple to install. I now have 3 of them hashing away at 34 ghs with an error rate of just 1.5%. I'd say these are the perfect starter miner for anyone looking to get into bitcoin mining. They are small, quiet and relatively cool (43 C under full load). And you can now try over clocking if you want as the new software makes this possible very easily. Rockminer is extremely responsive to custome questions and concerns (Thanks Roxxie). With price now down to $60 highly recommended. Just remember you won't make a profit at current prices.

Small Size but BIG Surprise !!!
Excellent Low Power Bitcoin Miner. I have 6 of these setup on CGMiner 4.5.0 with Windows 7 Ultimate. Easy to setup with 500 watt ATX power supply for best power option using 6 pin PCIe adapters found here on Amazon or ATX To DC Power Adapter by MinerSource. They run very cool 35C - 40C when laying on their side. During the summer they got as hot as 48C so I put a small box fan blowing across them to help with cooling. Now they are in short supply and the prices of what's available is climbing as high as $80. Newer RockMiner products are claiming 100GHs but cost $500 or more...

Does What They Claim
I got two of these, but the first one I received was DOA. It would power up, but Windows 7 never recognized any USB device at all when I jacked it in. So far, the vendor that I bought it from has promised to get me a new unit sent and to reimburse me the $29.70 that it cost me to ship it back to Hong Kong. I got the second one the next day, and it works exactly as advertised. Windows 7 found the device right away. Even though you have to download a driver installer and a special CGminer program to make it all work, setup was super easy. I was mining in about ten minutes. I've averaged a solid 32 GH/s for the past two days, so the working unit performs exactly as advertised, and it is returning BTC at about the rate that I had calculated. I'm really happy with the working miner, but I hope that I got a rare lemon in the DOA box and that this isn't something that happens often, because I'm planning on adding several more to my collection.

Great little ASIC but tough to setup
This is a bit of a tough review to score since I do think that it is a great Bitcoin miner that offers a lot of bang for the buck and reasonable power consumption. The device does as it says and it is surprisingly quiet and cool so those are huge pluses as well. However, I've configured quite a few different ASIC's for myself and some friends and this has been by far the most difficult one, so that's why I'm only giving it three stars. When hashing they're awesome, but compared to Antminer S1, Block Erupter Cube, and the myriad USB stick miners this is much more complicated to get to work. Ended up hooking it to a Raspberry Pi because my PC never saw the device, even after installing the special cgminer suggested by Rock Miner with their driver via Zadiq. Never worked. Good thing they offered a simple Raspberry Pi image that does the trick but I'm not too fond of the software in that image.

Stops working after 4 months
The rock miner was working well for only about 4 months then all of a sudden the fan stops working. It had good hashes for its price but did not last too long.

Best Entry lever miner Ive found so far!
Runs great! 2 of these are cranking out 66 - 68 Gh/s not only will I order again, I already have. If you are looking for a great entry level miner these are definitely the way to go if you are wanting to not break the bank and get a lot of bang for your buck. no worries about high power or high priced hubs, cooling or anything with these, just plug them in and start mining.
