Not my taste
I like the feel of this bottle. But the scent is way too earthy for me. Not an issue with the product, just not my cup of tea.

Not the scent for me
I gave this four stars because the bottle is a nice size BUT this does not work for me. It smells almost like a men's cologne at first to me and then like an older "grandma" type scent. I love my grandma dearly but I don't want to smell like her. This is not the parfum for me.

Unique Earthy Fragrance
This is an earthy scent; some might even consider it masculine smelling. Bois Bleu is a nice blend of bergamot, violet, nutmeg, sandalwood, cedar and vetiver that forms a unique fragrance. I am disappointed this parfum spray doesn’t last an entire day. I apply it early in the morning, but by noon the scent is considerably diminished.

Complex and musky, great strength and nice bottle, more masculine
This wonderful perfume came in a lovely dark glass bottle. The spray was not overly strong and it absorbed quickly while still leaving a good scent. As for the scent itself - a little hard to describe, but it was lovely. Much more of a musky, slightly floral, slightly fruity scent that made me think of men's cologne more than a traditional feminine scent, but I still enjoyed it (if you do not like masculine scents for yourself, you may not like this scent). Overall, I'd recommend it.

Not for me
Based on the description I expected to love this scent. Sniffing the bottle you get a sweet woody floral. One pump of the spray bottle and you get a large blast of perfume. Alcohol is the first ingredient and the first thing you smell. After that was the overpowering aroma of vetiver. And nothing else. To the point that I had to go wash it off instead of waiting for a dry down. This might be much nicer in a smaller amount. As it is, too much, too strong.

Complex, Layered, Beautiful!
Objectively, this is clearly a complex, layered, beautifully crafted scent. You can easily appreciate how this changes over time from bold to more powdery and pretty. Everything about it underscores it as a French fragrance: deep, expertly blended, complex, and showing remarkable longevity.Subjectively, I'm thoroughly American. So, I grew up on surface-level perfumes that smell like apples, grapefruit, oranges, etc. In fact, many American fragrances are distinctly light and fruity. (And, I totally love those! They are youthful and fun!) So, I think it there can sometimes be a learning curve with a true, "parfum." I think that, at first, these profound scents can seem too "big" or too "complicated" ... but I think if you really give this a try, might might legitimately fall in love with the beauty of this clearly labored-over, artistic production.I would suggest trying this as an evening scent (rather than day). Then, as you become accustom to how this dries down and evolves, you might try it for other occasions. This grew on me ... but so easily! It is not entirely what I gravitate toward and, I am really surprised at how much I fell in love with this. You may feel the same! Highly recommended!

Sophisticated scent
Pros:-I have never prescribed to scents being masculine or feminine, however for most people, this would be considered a scent that could go either way, learning more towards masculine.-I would describe the scent as having a clean woodsy armona with light hints of florals and herbs. It is very unique, and you won’t be able to compare it to a single thing. It’s a complicated sophisticated scent.-One spray releases a generous burst of perfume which will last you the evening.Considerations:-For the price the packaging is nothing unique or special. The cap feels a bit cheap.

Too masculine of a scent
This is now the second Robert Piguet perfume I have received in return for my honest review and I've been disappointed in both so far. I love Robert Piguet's perfume Fracas so I had high expectations for these two perfumes. This one, just as the other one, has a very overpowering masculine scent to it. My girlfriend who likes manly scents for her perfume likes it but for me, it's a no. It doesn't have a distinct scent but smells pretty generic to me, and way too strong.
