Works as described in the description. The sound is good on this speaker. The only complaint and it’s really not that bad it just the seems to be more tone and not so much bass. But I can deal with that. Work very good. Despite my concerns I still would purchase this speaker again. It still worth the purchase.

This Altec Lansing Mini H2O speaker is fantastic for outdoor and water activities. The IP67 waterproof certification is legit - I've used this in the shower, by the pool, and even dropped it in water with zero issues. Sound quality is impressive for such a compact speaker with good bass and clear highs. The Bluetooth connection is strong and stable up to 30 feet without dropouts. Battery life easily lasts 6+ hours of continuous playback which covers most activities. The fact that it floats is genius - no more worrying about it sinking if dropped in water. The compact size makes it incredibly portable for travel, hiking, or beach trips. The built-in carabiner clip is sturdy and convenient for attaching to bags or gear. Volume gets surprisingly loud for the size without distortion. The rugged construction feels durable and has survived multiple drops. Controls are simple and intuitive with easy pairing. UPDATE: After a couple of months this has become my go-to little speaker. For the shower and for bike rides and trips to the dog run. It’s a great shape to hold and the buttons work just right. It is loud enough and sounds good. The bass is ok but anything really deep will sound muffled and make the whole thing shake. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Needed a new little speaker for the shower and this seemed like a nice one - and it is. Sounds pretty good, a little distortion on the bass at high volumes but it's basically for podcasts and news and what not, so no biggie. Also, it's about the size of a deck of cards so it's actually pretty impressive. What is annoying is that there is no AUX port, even though it says there should be one on the product page. Ultimately I guess it's not a huge deal and I'll just use a different speaker for a physical connection, but I find it annoying because I called Altec Lansing and they confirmed they removed the port on the newer models but have not updated the page. SO, if you are hoping to use it with the AUX port you should beware. Otherwise it's good - the volume buttons are the +- with quick taps, and they FF/REW with long presses. It does have a microphone and takes calls - so at least they left that in. Despite being a "new model" it still has an older version of bluetooth because you can only pair one device at a time. So, if you want to switch devices you need to disconnect the first device before it will pair with another. Oldschool and less than cool. But, as I said it's a tiny and very rugged seeming speaker so I can live with limited functionality.

In the past I have had the serious larger A.L. Speakers. They were bar none -my favorite brand because of their incredible clarity and sound. I wanted something for travel in hotel rooms, you can start your day in a great state, with good music as you get ready for your day. When I opened the package it was the size of my lipstick. I thought this won’t deliver and will go right back. I was so wrong. You can toss this is your purse or backpack it is so small and light. But yes it delivers a perfect sound for hotels. You can play music and not disturb other guests. Sounds great for this tiny light weight size!!!

It has lasted me forever and I love the sound buttons are not the best but that’s fine. It is definitely water proof great value for money. It’s also decently loud.

I purchased the Altec Lansing IMW257-BLK Mini H2O Wireless Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker, and overall, I found it to be a decent product. The speaker's waterproof feature was excellent, allowing me to enjoy my favorite tunes in various outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, and golfing without worrying about water damage. The compact and lightweight design made it easy to carry around, and the 6-hour battery life was sufficient for most of my needs. However, after using it for a while, I noticed that the battery started to deteriorate. It wouldn't hold a charge for an extended period and would only work when connected to the charger. This dependency on constant charging was a bit disappointing and limited its portability. Despite this drawback, the Altec Lansing IMW257-BLK Mini H2O Wireless Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker still delivered good sound quality and was durable enough to withstand outdoor activities. It would be worth considering if you primarily plan to use it near a power source or don't mind keeping it connected to a charger.

Cette petite enceinte surprend par sa qualité sonore vu sa taille. Fonctionne parfaitement en Bluetooth avec ma tablette ou par câble 3.5 mm avec un lecteur mp3. Pas de regret pour cet achat.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto, es de buena calidad y por el precio ofrece excelentes prestaciones. Super portable y ligera y resistente, en cuanto al sonido tiene agudos claros y bajos respetables tomando en cuenta el tamaño del altavoz la conexión es rápida y sin trabas aparte de tener un buen rango de distancia. En cuanto a la batería si queda un poco corta, también dependiendo el volumen al que lo uses en un volumen al 70% te estará dando entre 3 horas y media a 4 horas aproximadamente. Lo único que no me tiene tan contento es que en las imágenes del producto aparece con puerto de 3.5 mm para auxiliar, y mi altavoz sólo presenta el puerto para carga que es de usb micro. Fuera de eso la recomiendo ampliamente!

Bought this to go in a Lego Retro Radio 10334 - sound quality is excellent, and the speaker fits neatly into the back of the radio. Quick to charge up and easy to pair with iPhone.

It's really compact! it's not loud enough if you use it outdoors. My iPhone 13 pro speakers are louder. 🤭 I use it with a room projector with Google tv in a small bedroom. It works fine....the volume at its loudest is Ok to watch a movie with in my room (about 12 sq metres). For the price paid...I have no complaints.
