A must have for quick, Delicious Quesadillas!
I recently purchased this quesadilla maker, and I couldn’t be happier with it! It heats up quickly and cooks evenly, giving the tortillas a perfect golden-brown crisp while melting the cheese inside just right. The built-in guides make it super easy to slice the quesadilla into neat, even portions—great for serving or packing for lunch.Cleanup is a breeze thanks to the nonstick surface. I also appreciate how compact it is; it stores easily in a cabinet without taking up much space. Whether you’re making a simple cheese quesadilla or loading it with chicken, veggies, or other fillings, this device handles it like a champ.Highly recommended for anyone who wants a fast, no-fuss way to enjoy restaurant-quality quesadillas at home!

Great product!
I am so excited to use this! Our last one finally broke after 10 years. Only complaint is a big, live spider was packed along with the box😭

No more burnt quesadillas!
I got this because I kept burning quesadillas I was making in the skillet. This works like a charm. My son is also able to use it to make quesadillas for himself.

Good product for the price
I was disappointed that the unit was not made of heavier materials. I was also disappointed that the cooking elements couldn't be removed for cleaning. Other than that, the appliance did what it was supposed to do.

I WANT MY OLD QUESADILLA MAKER BACK!!
I got rid of my old Santa Fe quesadilla maker because the plastic latch on the top had gotten brittle and was cracking and crumbling off; otherwise, it still worked perfectly. Now I wish I had it back. I tried to order a replacement on Amazon and the Santa Fe brand wasn't available - I was recommended this one instead.Problem #1: The first time I used it, I prepared the quesadillas the way I always had and apparently this quesadilla maker isn't as deep because all the cheese squished out the sides creating a huge mess. Which led to problem #2. The next time I used it, I didn't put as much filling in the quesadillas, but it still cooked out and ran over the sides. It's just not deep enough to make a good quesadilla.Problem #2: This quesadilla maker is NOT easy to clean up. It is coated with a non-stick surface (of sorts) but it is definitely not completely non-stick. There was LOTS of sticking! Also, it has a drip catcher and the outer edge has a groove to catch the grease and melted butter, but there isn't enough decline on the groove and the melted butter and grease just sit in the groove. It doesn't run down toward the drip hole. Once the quesadilla maker is cool enough to clean it, all the grease has solidified. I ended up having to spray it down with soapy water and use a wooden kebab skewer to clean out where it had overflowed into the sides of the quesadilla maker.Problem #3: The third time I used it the plastic latch popped off as I was unlatching it when the quesadilla was done. I tried to put the latch back on when the machine cooled down but I can't get it to go back on. I can't tell if it's broken or if it's because the plastic was more pliable when it was hot and now that it's cooled it is too stiff. Regardless, I can't get the latch back on so the quesadilla maker is useless to me right now.I looked up my order and the return window closed 2 weeks ago (figures!) or I would have returned it. I am NOT satisfied at all with this product.

Easy and Yummy Food. Hard to use and clean up
I love quesadillas so I was excited when I ordered this! I have used it everyday. Awesome quesadillas. Absolutely awesome! So quick and easy to make! It takes a minute or two for the green light to come on, then put your quesadilla on the nonstick surface, put the ingredients you want on, and then lower the top. My quesadillas take about 7 minutes and they are fine perfect for me. Yours might take 5 minute or ten minutes, you just have to work with the machine a bit to find out what timing works best for you. So for making and cooking the quesadilla itself, out of 5 stars, I give it 10.That being said, I have had problems with the machine itself. My machine slides on my countertop so I have to touch it and hold it in place especially when opening the lid, with a potholder in my hand to hold the back still. If you love a loaded quesadilla and you have many toppings, the top is not going to shut all the way down. With trial and error, and the manual will tell you NOT to press down on the top, but if I don’t press down on the top, I do NOT get my fully loaded quesadilla the way I like it. I love shredded cheeses and chopped up fine veggies and chopped up fine churn and ground beef on my quesadilla - it’s not going to be flat. It’s going to be bulky. That’s the way I love it. So first I lower the lid gently and let the lid sit on top of my quesadilla. Then I take a pot holder in my hand and gently press down on the lid a little bit. They say NOT to do that, but I love the end result that way, so I do, but I have to be very careful of the heat of this machine and handling it cuz it slides everywhere. For me, it’s a hard to handle machine. I would personally like it if they put handles on the outside for easier handling. I defiantly would want a handle on the top lid so one can easily open and close the lid without burning themselves because that latch on the top lid is the only thing to use to touch to open it up and as I am raising the lid by the latch, and the machine is sliding on my countertop, I gotta watch myself to not get burned. So, in my opinion, this needs handles. So I gently push the top down on the machine a little more. I keep doing this all the while with a potholder in my hand so not to get burned, until I can just latch the machine. Sometimes I latch it. Sometimes I don’t. It is not easy to unlatch so Iatching isn’t my goal.So it’s almost 7 minutes so I put my potholder hand on the back of the machine and take the other potholdered hand to awkwardly raise the top up. I just want to peek at my quesadilla and see how it’s browning. If o think it needs more time I will gently lower the lid, which is an awkward thing to do with a potholder in my hand. Why didn’t the manufacturer put a handle on the lid?So I now decide my quesadilla is ready. Smells awesome. I take my potholdered hand to awardly lift the lid by the flimsy latch, holding the back of the machine with my other potholdered hand so it doesn’t slide backwards on the counter, and once the lid is raised and it appears that it will stay up, I gently wiggle my silicone spatula underneath my quesadilla to gently remove it. Ohh does it look and smell good. I remove it from the nonstick surface and put it on the nearby plate.I unplug the machine. The machine is an absolute mess. Yes, I like my quesadilla fully loaded with ingredients so there will be food melt and dribble whether I pressed that top lid down on my quesadilla or not doesn’t matter, cuz I have done it both ways- a loaded quesadilla will ooze out the sides. Now for cleaning up the nonstick black surface, it’s a breeze. The manual will say wait until this cools down but I found it the nonstick surface harder to clean up when it was cooked down so I have learned to wait until the nonstick surface is warm to the touch without burning my fingers, and then I wipe clean. Because if you wait for the machine to cool down, the food particles will get stuck and then you’re gonna be awhile unsticking the food particles because it doesn’t always simply wipe clean. However, since I like a fully loaded quesadilla, I now have a melted food mess on my machine which has gone beyond the nonstick metal metal plates. My cheese and some chopped veggies have oozed into the crevices on the outer edges of the machine. It’s a mess. And this mess happens whether or not I press the lid down during cooking. Whenever I make what I call a fully loaded quesadilla, I will get this mess. I don’t have the outer edges mess when I only put a few toppings on my quesadilla and keep the topping in the center and sparingly. But I don’t like my quesadilla that way. I like having layers of cheese and chopped fine vegetables and chopped gine meats and lettuce. So I am going to have this mess getting into the outside crevices. And the outside of the nonstick surface crevices are not easy to reach, not easy to clean. It takes me roughly 30 to 45 minutes to do a decent clean up job with special clean up in the crevices tools to get this machine all safely washed - because you can’t immerse this maxhine in warm sudsy water. So cleaning up this machine around the outside crevices is a chore. There’s nothing easy about it. The food dribbles everywhere. And it’s that clean up that has me wondering if making my delicious quesadilla with this machine - even though the quesadilla itself is absolutely delicious, is it worth all this clean up mess? I’m thinking maybe yo put my quesadilla on my pancake griddle which is long and flat, and cooking the quesadilla on there, because I can load up my quesadilla ingredients, thf foid can ooze all it wants and clean up will then be a breeze. My pancake griddle also does not slide across the counter. This machine makes an incredible quesadilla very quickly and easily, but I have found the machine to be very difficult to handle, very difficult to lift the lid, my machine slides on the countertop, the front latch is problematic and won’t keep you from burning your fingers should you rely on that soley to open and close your top lid with. The concept of that machine is awesome but in my opinion the machine needs improvement. The machine needs something to grip a counter top, and it needs snakes on the front to lift the lid and handles on the sides to easily grasp the machine. The machine akso needs yo either hsve removable non stick plates to make clean up much easier, or the grooves on the machine on the outside need yo be redesigned in some way yo make the machine be an easy to get into wipe clean.East Awesome quesadillas, but the machine is hard to h as bold and clean up outside the nonstick metal surface is not easy - it’s time consuming.Awesome quesadilla maker - out of 5 stars I give it a 10Hard to handle/use. Out of 5 stars I give it a 3Hard to clean op beyond the nonstick metal surface - out of 5 stars I give it a1.I’m ready to look for a different machine that’s easier up handle and easier to clean.
