Baar's Atomic Iodine Electrified is the real deal. It is Edgar Cayce's original formula. It also comes in a water based formula, but, for me, I find the alcohol based formula is more potent. It seems to provide better delivery. Although it is costly, it's definitely worth it.I'm 77 and have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. It has gotten worse as I have gotten older. If you have any experience with it you know you can't just rely on prescription medication. I have a system to cope with it. Baar's Atomic Iodine is an essential part of it. It allows me to get out of bed and function so that I can really enjoy my life.

There are other Nascent iodine products that do not have such a bad taste. This one tastes horribly. Live and learn.

Don't expect much. I guess it's ok but I can't tell the difference between this and tincture of iodine that costs $1 a bottle at the dollar store. It is totally nasty and I'd not think it would taste exactly like the tincture but it does.
