Aqua Clear Pool Products pH Decreaser 20 lb.

First thing’s first — This 20 lb container of pH decreaser is a HUGE steal if you look at the prices of other brands — even the ones that are way less than 20 lbs!!!! I absolutely love Aqua Clear and will never go back to other brands. The top is kind of difficult to open at first, but after that it is super easy but still secure enough to keep pets and small children out of it (which they shouldn’t be near it anyways). Does not come with a scooper, so I just use a regular plastic measuring cup. I have bought at least 10 different brands of pH down for my pool (I am afraid of muriatic acid lol), and this one is hands down the best! Lowers pH to exactly where I want it (download the PoolMath app if you haven’t already done so…you won’t regret it!) and also helped me drop my extremely high Total Alkalinity (TA) from over 250 all the way down to 70 within a week. Leaves a nice SPARKLE to my water after I use it, too! 💦✨✨ The granules are so easy to add to the water. I do not pre-mix it. I just walk around the perimeter of my pool and evenly distribute it. Most pH downs have lots of clumps — mine had NONE except a few super tiny ones. Just weigh out the correct amount you need to lower your pH, sprinkle it around the perimeter of your pool, mix it all up with a brush to make sure it gets distributed everywhere, and run your pump for at least a few hours. Be careful when using this stuff (and any other pH decreasing product) around metal equipment, as this product is corrosive if you drop the pH too low. It can cause rust. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this brand of pH decreaser to any pool owner. If you also hate dealing with muriatic acid and prefer dry acid like I do, you must order this product. The listing for this product says it's a liquid. It's not. It's a powder. And it works to decrease the pH in your pool. Period. No explanation needed. And it's less expensive than other brands you'll find on Amazon and your local pool supply store.

Finally got my pool to within normal PH levels. Took about 10lbs of this product adding 2 lbs per week.

I have see this product to lower my ph and it did not do anything to the ph level in my pool? It just made it cloudy? I checked levels and nothing??? B
