Fantastic
These are fantastic! Excellent quality! Fast delivery! Complete with carry bag. Wanted especially to carry when out on mobility scooter. Ordinary crutches too long to transport easily for when I get off scooter. These fold up & are just brilliant invention!

Wanted some new crutches for permanent use, some questionable design choices.
While my testing so far has been just a short walk to get a feel for the height and any adjustments I need to make I think I've seen enough to review them. The crutches look nice, feel light and are easy to use. The handles feel pretty okay though if you're using them all the time then buying some covers might be ideal as it's just plastic with no padding, they do have grooves to stop your hands sliding off though so that's something. They feel pretty solid walking around and fairly comfortable apart from the handles not having padding.Being a long term user of crutches and encountering the awkwardness of going out and trying to find places for crutches under tables at dinner and chairs when attending a show I though a folding pair would be much more convenient. They also come with a bag to put them in but they'll only fit at the lowest height so it's not very practical to use it to store them unless you want to adjust the height again every time you use them. The cuffs have velcro straps on them that are padded and soft though not to a great extent, another problem with long term use of elbow crutches is the plastic cuffs tend to chafe and hurt your arms so this could be a welcome solution if it's durable and doesn't rub too much in hot weather. The main reason I knocked off a star is the folding mechanism doesn't feel like it'll last long to me. Instead of a locking hinge they achieve the folding by an elasticated string that holds the two pieces together and pulls the bottom into the top to hold it in place when in use. They can be held together with a plastic clip and they do fold quite well but I'm curious how long a piece of elastic will last before it snaps making them completely useless. When folded the string is pulled tight over the edges which looks like it's digging into the string. Along with a fairly basic set of velcro straps and the plastic handles with no padding I start to wonder why these cost so much. I'm sure I'll get some use out of these but if it'll be the years of use I got from my last pair before a padded handle wore out we'll see. My last pair cost less than these and felt more well built just without the folding functionality. If you're fairly tall you might have issues with the height of the crutches as they are quite small. They definitely aren't made for big and tall people.

Brilliant
They are great quality and fit brilliant into my hand luggage for our flight to New York. Bought them as my partner uses crutches on and off when her knee plays up and didn’t want to Risk going away for a week without anything with us as there is a lot of walking involved. They came early so that was a relief.

Do not buy these
- When folded they are still too big to fit into a regular sized backpack. The bag they come in is not really suitable for carrying with you.- The bottom rubber grips are not secured properly and have come off multiple times, once when exiting a train in Spain, where I had to quickly grab it off the floor before the doors shut. Other times they stick to wet ground.- After a few months of use the metal part has pierced through the rubber ends, making them impossible to use. See pictures. This put me in a dangerous situation where I slipped over on a hardwood floor, because there was no grip.- They don’t feel stable at all when using them to completely take the weight off one leg. They’re only suitable for occasional light use.Now I have to spend more money on another pair so I can leave my house. And I’m broke.
