Simple & easy to install
What I don’t like is they don’t give you instructions as with what to do with the one you’re replacing as you’re not supposed to throw it away in the trash

Easy install and not too big
Installing these was simple. I like that the battery is a one and done yet will last ten years. Not much thought into this device. Drill the screws in the right place snap on the back and hang on the screws and you are protected! The design looks very nice and the test button was an adequate size.

Tamper proof
C3010 date of mfg: 2020,06,03Permanent battery. Very small and lightweight.Cannot be disabled by a person who doesn't want it to chirp, or what-have-you.Thorough documentation (in the super small printer font suggestive of zero concern for people who cannot see as well as they once did. ;)Took careful photographs of all words printed on this CO detector gadget before installing it.Fit exactly on same spacing of the old CO detector.The two fasteners for the Kidde KN-COB-B-LP (the replaced unit) are spaced exactly the same as the reviewed item, Kidde C3010.That was helpful. ;)The unit weighs very little.Hardly any room to write in month and year for the 'replace by' date, on the side of the unit.Instrux say to vacuum it often, ostensibly to clean it of dust.They didn't include a vacuum cleaner, though. ;).Would buy again. Tamper proof design (and Kidde brand) made this one the obvious choice.Meant to last up to ten years.I'll be giving it a solid six years; no more.
