Good peice of S/S flat bar.
Good peice of flat bar. Shipped in a heavy cardboard tube. Bought it for a project, but decided to go a different route. I always need metal. I'll find a use for it yet.

Dock Piling Stabilizers DYI
Bought several thickness 1/8" and 1/4" . Bought two lengths (4 ft and 8 Ft ) for stabilizing a dock pilings. Bent them fit around the piling then angle at about 35 degrees to the seal wall, then bent a flap to fasten to the sea wall with 4" 3/8" SS lags. Also took a grinder and eased the edge so any boat rub rail would slide easy over the metal as the tide falls or rises. Saved me over 2 thousand vs a welder. Bought a Drill Doctor sharpener to keep drill bits sharp. Drilled of the lags

Acceptable
Dimensionally accurate and straight enough for bar stock. Finish is acceptable. Was a bit pricey but not terrible.

Good and sturdy.
Sturdy, good material. Once sanded and polished I used it as the cross bar for a kitchen pot rack.

Quality Control
A simple detail, like cutting the pieces straight would have been nice. Fortunately I have the tools to correct this and I didn't need this exact length.
