They fit well with our wooden dining room table. They're easy to clean. Neutral rating on durability. We don't fold them - we're scared to as it seems they may begin to unravel. Low rating on versatility because I can't see these being used on many other table designs (e.g. glass top), or anywhere outside of the kitchen/dining room setting. Perhaps a picnic.

I ordered these to use as a floor for my dollhouse and they work great. The color for all four mats is very consistent.

Love them. They are well made. Durable. Beautiful. And heat resistant. Thicker than what I had anticipated. Very useful product.

We use these placemats everyday and they hold up quite well to everyday use. We’ve had a few spills, including red wine, but no issues with staining the bamboo. We shake/brush off loose crumbs and wipe with a damp cloth after use. I have also sprayed them with alcohol for extra cleaning. I would not clean these placemats (or anything made of wood) with heavy detergent or bleach. I use them on a tan tablecloth and they blend in nicely, with a natural look. For a more dramatic table I use a black tablecloth and the woven pattern really stands out. I dislike vinyl placemats, so the natural look and feel of bamboo is perfect for me. If you need placemats that can withstand frequent heavy cleaning and/or bleaching then vinyl is probably your best choice.

These are really awesome place mats. My only complaint is that they arrive folded, and it takes bloody forever for them to flatten out on the table. Otherwise, I feel that they are high-quality and have the look of that. I've found that they wipe off with a damp cloth easily. Some people complained about food and liquids dripping through the weave onto the table. My table is finished in a protective coating, so this isn't a problem for me. If you have kids--which many of us do--you might be better off with cheap vinyl place mats for every day and using these for when you're serving guests. I personally love them and do not regret the purchase. They have just the eye appeal that I was wanting. Very rich. Don't look cheap.

I had been looking to match my 2 placemats that looked just like these but couldn't find them. I happened on these as I was about to buy another bamboo set & thought I'd look at the other color that was available on that site. WOW! There were these placemats that I had been trying to match! I was so happy & am so pleased with them. I need to point out that these have a trim on the edges, thankfully. Otherwise, bamboo is rather sharp-edged. These, then, are not abrasive. They are very attractive & wear well, lie flat. Bamboo is also an ecological product, easily replenished on our planet.

I liked the versatility of this product. I wanted something pretty (that didn't look like bamboo straws sewn together).....something that could resist heat on my new table......something that could roll up and store on the shelf underneath it.......and something that could be easily cleaned. I found every element in this set of placemats! Both of our daughters commented on them as soon as they entered the kitchen because they look so beautiful on my table. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product!

Fits into my tropical vacation home! Bamboo is so amazing and so easy to clean. I use it for warm pots of food and for place settings to protect my granite counter tops. I love environmental products that are sustaining products!
