I purchased this book for my 4 year old Grandson, who loves counting. This book is wonderful. It has addition and subtraction exercises easy to understand and very helpful learning skills as well. He is really going to enjoy this!

It’s a great book and my 4yr old enjoys doing it. My main complaint is the lack of color in the book. It’s all black and white, which is fine but could be better. Lots of writing numbers which I wouldn’t consider a top priority at this age, I’d rather have seen it give multiple choice options to focus more on number recognition for answers. Overall, I’d purchase again & will buy the kindergarten book when we finish this one.

The activities are age-appropriate and do a great job building early math skills like counting, number recognition, and simple patterns.

Picked up this workbook for our daughter as we are trying to work on our math every day in preparation for Junior kindergarten. It’s rated from ages 2 to 4, but I believe that two is too young to start on this. My daughter is 3 1/2 - we picked up this workbook a few months ago and I feel like three is the right age to start. The book works on counting, number recognition, tracing, basic addition, subtraction, patterns, etc which are all fundamental skills for kindergarden. I like the overall variety of the activities, but I believe the book is better geared towards the three and four year-old as opposed to a two year-old.

My 4-year-old gobbled this up. The usually hesitant writer just couldn’t get enough of this one and raced through it in 2 days. The book is perfect for my big guy because he loves numbers and math but has trouble writing. The big spaces and number outlines, the practice pages, and the little award at the end make for an incredibly rewarding experience. Needless to say, my kid felt awesome about himself and so proud. Also, big bonus: he wrote to author as suggested at the end of the book and received some cute customized worksheets as well! So sweet!

It’s really the best workbook that'll get your kid excited about learning math. My son loves it.
