So far so good. I'm very pleased with this collar. My dog has responded to it very well and I'm happy with the battery. I put it on her around 7 in the morning and come 8 or 9 at night, it starts indicating the battery is going dead.We charge it while we sleep and I take the collar off when we leave. She doesn 't mined putting on or wearing it one bit. A word of advice, make sure it's on tight enough and up a bit higher on the neck. If it's not, they don't seem to notice the "corrections" given. We have a Border Collie, so I'm sure her thick coat is why, but it's not an issue, just something to pay attention to when putting it on.

Full disclosure this is the first e collar I have purchased but I have been hunting with guys that have the typical lanyard setup.Pros:Nick button easy to access! I recommend that if the dog has the collar on you should have the controller on your hand even when you are conditioning them and won’t be using it.If you want to wear it around you neck by a lanyard it’s a little difficult to remove the wrist safety strap to put the lanyard on. Maybe DT will make it better for the next gen.I wish I would have gotten the upland version.

The battery life on these collars is terrible if you're having trouble with your dog it probably won't last through a day in the yard. I was diligent and charged the collar every night so it would be ready when needed but the number of recharges before the battery degrades is very limited also. I though fortunately I had chosen a collar the batteries could be replaced in so I ordered a replacement.The replacement battery had all same symptoms as the battery I had replaced. Short cycling the charge and a complete inability to hold a charge. I was mortified and thought I had inadvertently reinstalled the original battery and thrown away the new battery.I ordered a second battery and was meticulous in how I replaced the battery. The third battery had all the same symptoms. So I contacted customer service through email, I don't believe there was another option. No response.I was replacing two collars from another manufacturer that had never been anything but reliable and had a battery life that averaged more than a week. The other manufacture has since modified their collars with replaceable batteries and I have bought two collars from them that are much more functional for the same price. These collars sit in the cabinet and will go in the trash the first time I need the space. Terrible purchase. I should have just burned the money in the back yard.

Works well

Product worked great for 32 days. I should’ve read the reviews as this is a common issue. Stop stimulating after about 30 days, I almost lost my dog as she is just 5 months old. So don’t depend on it. Their solution was I have to mail it in while they examine it and then they will call me, which is practically no help at all as that prices would probable take over a week. I will have to buy a new one as I need it now.I will probably just go with another brand.

This collar has been awesome, it came without the antenna but after writing to the maker they sent me one really fast. On the usage... It has worked flawlessly and it has been waterproof so far. The dogs know its there and the vibrate function works well. It the dog is stubborn just use the nick or current button to really get them to listen. Ive used mine on a really stubborn mix bred when we go to the river she jumps in the water with it on and it hasnt messed up yet. Being able to select a choice between 3 separate dogs is great when one needs to get the attention of one when they stray from the pack.

For sure the collar vibrates, bith my collars vibrate, but now both wont shock. Im bot sure why. The company has been no help.Its the controllers, poor quality control. Have had three now.

I had a version of this collar for the last 4 years with great results. I have a stubborn lab and a couple of hits with this we get on the same page quick and I then go to vibrate. The old collar eventually died so I had to pick up a new one. While it is expensive, it is worth every penny for serious duck hunters. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is cost.

Collar is too long and can only cut off 3 inches. On/off button aren’t very good on both units very hard to see.

Item was exactly as pictured. I set it up as the manual said and it worked without any problems.

Bought to train our waterfowl hunting dog. Surprisingly, the vibration makes her very nervous, so my husband has decided not to use it, but she responds very well to the stimulation, and is very excited to get the collar put on as it means it's time for her to work on her retrieval drills.

New system came missing the antenna and with a used collar. Button felt cheap and not user friendly. It certainly didn’t compare to my Dogtra for the same. price it
