I purchased this for my boyfriend and was a little skeptical as one of the reviews posted here was by one of the author's friends. But my boyfriend, who is a huge Seinfeld buff, LOVES this book. I've caught him laughing while reading it. Sometimes he tries to explain the things he's read in the book and he is laughing so hard he can barely tell me what he's been reading! His enjoyment is infectious because then I start laughing and I don't even know what I'm laughing about.He says you can open the book at any page and not be lost, and he says it's more than just about Festivus. It's also about the family that celebrated it and all the quirks that made Festivus what it was, and what is is today.So if you know a die-hard Seinfeld fan this is probably the perfect gift for them - they WON'T be disappointed!

Interesting book. It's very funny and it covers Festivus from nuts to bolts. Some of the trivia that is included around the production of the Seinfeld episode is pretty detailed. I hope I don't come across as a know it all at the upcoming Festivus party. The author clearly loves Festivus as he has researched every tidbit of the holiday. You will like the stories of other people's Festivus parties. Some good examples of what other people's traditions are, seem to be helpful. How many different ways can someone make a Festivus pole? It's in here. There is also a comparison of the traditional O'Keefe Festivus to the Seinfeld version. Also the contrasting of the Festivus pole to a stripper pole is pretty funny. I plan to buy a copy for a friend an give it to them at Festivus.

Probably not really worth the money but fun to have.

Really great book and made December 23rd a reality. The content is an expanded version of the episode but has tons of examples of how to have an awesome Festivus for the rest of us.

Tells the story right from the horses mouth, so to speak. Gives the Festivus Tale as told from the Seinfeld episode writers perspective; all the way from his parents original celebration to the classic episode from Seinfeld.

If you're a Seinfeld fan, you're going to enjoy this book.

Awesome book. Lots of information I didn't know. Has recipes for festivus meal. It's great. Would recommend if you love festivus.
