I've not read this particular book, but Williamson was the one modern author that truly stood out for me during economics graduate school sometime after the last crusade. Like the best ideas a simple premise is used as a lens to view the machinations of human enterprise. The theory projects a level of clarity over complexity that is just stunning. I've always thought of Williamson's work as a school of thought to sit along side or on top of the Keynsians and Monetarists. I'm picking this back up 35 years on. This book seemed the most comprehensive and up to date of his work since then. I'm looking forward to the read.
