I’ve been thoroughly absorbed reading this superb guide, which provides a very rounded view on the challenges and benefits of establishing an environmental management system.Using the benefit of the authors' many years of experience, the reader is helped to understand the problems and potential issues, as well as how these can be anticipated and dealt with.The excellent detail and comprehensive tables were easy to follow and it was a great relief to read a practical implementation guide, rather than a clause by clause breakdown of the standard.I am genuinely delighted, as I have learnt a great deal and received some very valuable advice on how to comply with ISO 14001, EMAS and environmental systems in general. .Highly recommended

this is a complex topic, this book allowed all views at how people behave and why organisations take the leap to taking on and EMS. The book also puts forward how the EMS corrisponds to ISOs and EMAS.
