Super easy to use. Comes with two triple A batteries, you just need to snap them into place and it’s good to go! The app was easy to download and super simple to use. Screen is easily readable. Looks to be made from quality material unlike my previous one from another brand. Nice compact size. Seems to function well, and will read the temperature accurately to within 0.5 degrees which is amazing. Had no issues with it connecting to my phone at all.I plan to keep this one in my room and place the new mini screen-less version inside my Lesser Tenrecs terrarium (think hedgehog 🦔 in looks) so that I can keep a close eye on things when I’m not home.I think this could easily be mounted as it has a hole in the back just for that.

I bought this after a previous model thermometer/ hygrometer that I purchased from Govee a year ago stopped working. I contacted customer service to try troubleshooting what happened and Lynn from the customer service team immediately tried sending me a brand new replacement, free of charge in its place. When, they realized that that model had been discontinued, they instead refunded me for the broken item and recommended this model as the perfect replacement.I purchased this model immediately. It arrived within 2 days and setting it up in the Govee Home app with my humidifier(also from them) was incredibly simple and user friendly. The device starts working immediately the second you install the included triple A batteries. It pairs to the app with a click of a button, and then pairs to your humidifier with another click.I love that you can see info about the room’s humidity from across the day. This makes it very easy to keep your room exactly how you want it both in terms of temperature and humidity.I use mine in my bedroom. I love that the LCD’s don’t emit any light when the room is dark so that I’m not kept up by any annoying lights.All in all, a great device at an affordable price from a company with excellent customer service.

I ordered one of these for my basement as it was seemingly super humid. Turns out my dehumidifier (which never really had an accurate hygrometer on it) had died and was just running a fan, not actually pulling water out of the air. That was helpful to learn using this device.I also went ahead and calibrated it using the salt in a plastic container technique. The meter noted 75%, as it should after about 12 hours, so that was nice. The Bluetooth connection, however, is a bit difficult to get to work consistently, even when standing right near the device with my phone and/or tablet. It works, but sometimes it says "no new data" despite there being no distance between devices and some time having passed. It eventually works, but might take a few refreshes before it loads the latest. Other times it loads right up. No idea why the difference.That said, I bought a second one for another location. I put both old and new side by side in my basement and the new one was about 3% off after over 12 hours, so I did have to adjust that one. Before I did, I double checked by doing the salt calibration test and the old one was still spot on and the new one was ~3% too low. The good news is, it's an easy fix in the app to adjust it to where it needs to be. Both seem to be working now in their respective locations and seem to give accurate readings (at least for RH--temperature seems pretty accurate too, but I've not really calibrated or tested as I don't really care about that).The form factor is small so it can slip easily where it needs to. The screen is large enough to be read on a glance. Battery life is TBD, but as long as it lasts a few months at least, I'll be happy. In short, it's a cheap and accurate enough device and though it may need some calibration out of the box, it's not difficult to setup. I do wish the Bluetooth was a bit more reliable, but as long as I can read the screen and trust the results, that's the most important part to me. If you're in need of constant remote monitoring, I'd go with a WiFi version instead.

The item was delivered very fast and everything works as advertised. The units easily paired with Bluetooth and appear to be pretty accurate. The displays are easy to read and the trending information is all available in the app.Would recommend this purchase for local monitoring.Hoot

We use these everywhere to keep our humidity levels in check and generally know what temperature it is. They're typically off by a few points of a degree, but they're perfect for everyday household use. We even put two in our refrigerator and freezer, which has helped us notice when they go out of temp (which we otherwise wouldn't have).The app lets you download data from each device and presents it in a graph. The app will store data indefinitely, while the thermometer itself keeps nothing older than two weeks.Bluetooth only, with a range of 10-15 feet. That works for our smallish apartment, but would be harder to manage in a large house. I think Govee also makes wireless-compatible thermometers.

I have 5 of these, I can not recommend them enough! I use them for my greenhouse, incubators (to be sure the temp and humidity is correct), in my hatchling brooders, and in my outdoor freezer to alert me if it were to quit on me and the temp rises to high. Great product always, batteries last for nearly a year, I got my first one in 2019 and it still works like a charm. If you're shopping around for a good Bluetooth thermometer with humidity and an app with temp settings range and alert notifications that goes with it at a low price, you've found it! look no further!

I received this item and immediately tested it for accuracy alongside a confirmed hygrometer and thermometer. It tested perfect! The display is easy to read and the smartphone app is easy to use. I like the fact that I can adjust the accuracy via the smartphone app, although I didn't need to do that with this device. I would definitely recommend this hygrometer/ thermometer to anybody who needs one
