Very happy with this coffee machine, being a bit of a coffee head I love my coffee and for me the coffee out of the Nespresso is really nice. I bought the this after going on holiday in a lodge in Yorkshire, they had one there and after trying a few of the pods I had to buy one. I know coffee machines can be quite expensive but the Nespresso Vertuo is very reasonable for quality of coffee it makes, also I find the Nespresso company and after care outstanding, so yes definitely recommend by me. It is not an overly large machine that takes over the kitchen or wherever you put it and is very easy on the eye, is easy to use and clean. Having said all this, I am now going to make a coffee 😌.

Makes really good coffee but the cleaning and descaling procedures are pretty complex to master and I for one had to keep running back and forth to the online manual to check the next step each case - it's not intuitive and this could surely be made simpler with better onboard software/LEDs. So put the online instructions as close to the machine as you can when you clean or descale. Would love to see a video of George Clooney trying to make it look easy. We did have an older one which eventually died on us. It's next to impossible to diagnose or self-repair, but we bought another of the same model, which probably tells you all you need to know.

Great coffee. Machine not fit for purpose. Purchased 3 SEP 24 from Amazon because, as usual, the Nespresso website didn't want to play and I didn't want to miss a very good price. I should, of course, have wondered why the offer was so good. Great coffee but the machine broke down. After a lengthy consultation with a very helpful operative the original machine was replaced the next day by a reconditioned unit delivered to my door. And then the replacement broke down. Another long consultation with a very helpful agent, but this time the machine had to go off for repair. After a few weeks the repaired machine came back wrapped in cling film and coveted inside the film with wet coffee - I have the photos. I cleaned it, dried it and flushed it. It leaks. It was sitting on my in tray in a puddle of water. I checked the kettle and then, when I tried to make coffee, it would not work properly - the coffee pooled under the machine. Ps because I couldn't face being without Nespresso after more than 17 years I bought a virtuo pop on 5 Nov 25 to tide me over while my replacement machine was being repaired. My husband and I love this machine. Our previous filter coffee machine was too bulky, needed filter papers, with a thermal jug that held up to about 10 cups. There's just the two of us, and we have just one coffee each, every morning. Also, the water tank was fixed, which became a real pain for cleaning and accessing. We decided to go for a Pod machine so we could have really good quality coffee, one cup fresh each time. I know, I know...... the pods are expensive in comparison to loose coffee, but crikey, you get what you pay for! These virtuo pods are big, and there's a very good range of strengths and sizes. We both agree, it's the best cup of coffee we've ever had. We were nervous it might be too big and unsightly (it's quite long) , but certainly not, it's very neat indeed. We have absolutely no regrets.

I had one of the smaller Nespressos but was never really satisfied with it as I like a large cup of coffee. After trying the Vertuo at a friends house I was hooked. I like the variety of coffees and sizes. I heat my milk up in the microwave and then fill the rest of the cup with coffee. This way you get a nice lot of froth like a cappuccino.

I proper love this. I have had a different branded machine for years. A I only drink black coffee the choices were poor. So decided to treat myself to this. Came with a sample box of coffee and the ones I have tasted so far are lush. Definitely elevated for black coffee drinkers. Got a coffee for 50 free pods as well that I ordered through the app. Delivered next day too. So excellent service. I have several different ones to try and a huge number in my basket on the app that is like to try. Doesn't take up too much room and the pod bin that's built in is excellent. No drops taking used pads to the bin. Hold plenty of water and ready to access to refill when needed. Quieter than previous machine and just all round great
