If you are anything like me, you've been looking at dozens of different toppers and reading scores of reviews. Let me help you out and tell you why this is the one you should get. I was having terrible 24/7 shoulder pain, to the point I even consulted my doctor about it. I finally made the connection that the pain started around the same time as I replaced our mattress. I thought I'd bought the current version of my previous, beloved mattress but the new one was just a touch firmer. To test my theory, I picked up a cheap 1 inch egg crate topper. The improvement was immediate but I didn't like the 3 zone, bumpy surface of the topper and felt a thicker one would be even better. So the search began for the perfect 2 inch memory foam topper. I was terrified by the many pictures of the ones that didn't "inflate" properly when unboxed, leaving an unusable, lumpy mess that was nearly impossible to box up for return. Some even came with stains from being improperly stored. Yuck! After lots of research, I picked this one and am super pleased with the choice. Here are the two big things that influenced my decision. 1. This one is made in USA. If I have problems at least I'm not fighting with someone in China. 2. This one both ships from and is sold by Amazon, not a 3rd party merchant. I am pretty sure this means if I had to return it, I could take it to Kohl's unboxed. When my topper arrived, I was worried because the box had excessive tape and looked like it might have been a return. But inside, the topper was pristine, wrapped in a plastic/fabric tube which kept it constrained. I carefully sliced that and unfurled the topper, which was wrapped in a big drop cloth like sheet. It poufed up to full thickness by the time I finished getting it unrolled. There was no 24-72 hour waiting period. Just instant perfection. It didn't smell but I waited until the next day to put it on the bed just in case. It stretxhes out as you handle it and it overhung my king bed a bit but all I had to do was pat the edges towards the middle to square it up to a perfect fit. (My mattress cover fit fine but my fitted sheet was a tight fit. I've since added a 4" bottom border to the fitted sheet by sewing on part of an old sheet and it fits great now. The topper stays put and we haven't had to reposition it once in a month's time. My shoulder pain problem has all but evaporated. The bed is cozy and soft but still has support for my back. You do feel a bit like the middle of the bed is uphill after laying near the edge, but it doesn't really interfere with repositioning throughout the night. Once you move to a new spot, the previous spot springs back up right away. It is the dead of winter, so I can't tell if this will sleep hot during the summer or if the "cooling gel" is legit. It does not have the perforations some others have to dissipate heat. That is about the only thing I would have changed. But I will trade kicking off the covers once or twice a night for debilitating shoulder pain any day. This is one of the best purchases I've made in quite a while. I recommend it without hesitation.

A friend of mine bought this and told me about it so I decided to try it. It saved my life! I was so uncomfortable every night before buying this topper, now i sleep like a dream and wake up not being in pain! I bought this topper in King then I bought it in twin xl for my daughter's college room and she loves it as well. I plan to get one for every bed in my home. Super comfortable, good quality and easy packaging also.

This made my foam mattress feel even more comfortable. Everyone fights to sleep in my bed when they come to visit, which I love because I'm a huge family person. As a millennial, it brings back memories of sleeping in the living room with all my cousins. I gave it 4 stars because I do not feel like it cools, if that part of the advertisement was taken out, then I would've given it 5 stars. Super easy to put on. Just the right amount of firm to soft ratio. Definitely money well spent. Fits perfectly on a King bed.

I have a rather firm mattress that I prefer to any expensive pillow top. The downside though is that lately my back requires me to sleep in a specific position to avoid back pain. I've always been against foam because it's not breathable. After having a great sleep on a memory foam-topped mattress while visiting family, I decided to give it a try. I put this product on top of my mattress and now I can sleep peacefully in almost any position. It does adapt to your body shape to offer even support - it's not a hype. My complaint about foam not being breathable stays - it can get you hot - but it's not as bad as I thought. If you're sick and spend whole days laying on it, then it may become an issue. Follow the instructions when you open it. It will really return to its original shape on its own if you give it a day. If you pull on it you'll just rip it.

It is perfect. My husband usually complains of the bed being too soft and he wants to remove the toppers. This one he loves and it is soft but it’s not bad on his back. It’s like climbing into a comfy cloud at night

I bought the older yellow memory foam from Sleep Innovations using the same amazon listing years ago, and then I bought the new "blue" foam in 2021. Since I bought both versions using the same product listing and the same company, I expected a high quality product. The old yellow foam was great. It was a high density memory foam. The old product supported your body well, and retained a handprint for a while when you pressed on it. The old foam lasted for years without much degradation. (I'm still using it on another bed.) The new blue foam is MUCH less dense. It does not offer very much resistance when you lie down on it. It feels similar to lying directly on the mattress underneath. If you pinch the new foam between your fingers, it collapses to a small size, less than a third or a quarter of an inch perhaps. Besides being much less dense, the new product does not appear to behave like "memory" foam. If you press your hand into it, even hard, and release fast, your handprint does not stay behind at all. In my opinion, the old and the new version are very different products. It seems misleading that the old amazon product listing has been re-used because this listing has great reviews from the older product. However, a very different product has been substituted.

i bought one and liked it so much that I bought 2 more for other king beds. These 2 are a square shape and hang over the edges of the mattress. My original is a rectangle and fits perfectly.

We just received our king size topper and from opening the box to placing on our bed literally took 15 minutes. It fits perfectly and is exactly the right amount of softness to make our extra hard mattress be comfortable. I would definitely recommend this product. There was no odour which is also a bonus. Comfy, but a bit annoying that my mattress is a few inches larger than the topper so the edges don't line up neatly. It would have been nice if it had an extra couple of inches and could be trimmed to fit perfectly.

We had this on our former bed (now in the guest room) and only realized how much we missed the extra cushioning when we had to sleep in the other bed one night. We ordered this memory foam topper the very next day. What can I say? Aaaaahhhhh....

Foam mattress toppers are not for everyone as they don't have a lot of spring. We had a really old 3 inch and wanted a new less cushy version. This topper has the right amount of cushion and the sleep factor is high. The price is right. It also unfolded to its shape pretty quickly out of the bag, but follow the directions.
