I have owned this extractor for almost a month. I can tell it will not last for many years because it is made of plastic, so wear and tear will take it's toll eventually. I am impressed with how well it works (crushes veggies, etc). It is not made to handle hard items everyday, like fresh turmeric and ginger, but as long as I prepare it by peeling and cutting it into smaller pieces, it will handle them with ease. I enjoy the smaller size, the ease of cleaning it and the cost. My concern will be the overuse of certain veggies and the eventual wear and tear, so I am being careful not to overdo it. I want to keep it longer before it needs replacing. I also appreciate the reverse button when food/veggies get stuck, makes it convenient. All parts are made of plastic (except the strainer is part metal and part plastic and so some veggies stain the plastic pieces (need to consider this part). So far I am not bothered by that as long as it continues to function. I now understand why it has received such great reviews and like I mentioned, so far so good with special consideration of the fact that is it made of mostly plastic and the wear and tear will eventually occur. I use it twice per day for my dietary needs and I hope to be able to use it more over time, crossing my fingers. I hope this review helps. I am pleased for my very first juicer/extractor. I am grateful for the affordable price.

I am so thrilled with this purchase! I had a very old Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Elite centrifugal juicer that I bought second hand from a friend several years ago. It was a good unit in its day and I'm grateful to have had it, but after using my new Omega juicer, I realize how inferior my old machine was. The Omega is simple to use, and -- really important! -- it's EASY TO CLEAN! Lots of times, I talked myself out of juicing because the machine was such a pain to clean. But the Omega is unbelievably simple to clean. I read in one of the reviews where someone advised developing the habit of cleaning the juicer before drinking the juice -- every single time -- to ensure no dried "stuff" has to be dealt with, and that the process remains as simple as possible. It also means it's ready to go next time you get ready to juice. I am taking her advice! The pulp dryness is as good as I would expect from any juicer, and the juice itself is beautiful, clean, healthy perfection. The operation of the machine is also amazingly quiet, especially as compared with my counter-hopping, LOUD old machine. My kittens didn't even flinch, much less run, when I cut the machine on, and they run from just about every appliance noise until they get used to it. This juicer is a high quality unit that's been well designed to make juicing available and fun for all of us. If you're shopping for juicers, this one is the bomb!!! And it doesn't break the bank!

I'm overall pleased with this juicer, with some minor caveats. I think it's a good value, but this is my first and only juicer/juicing experience, so my perspective is limited. A friend (an experienced juicer, who has a high end double-auger juicer from a different brand), pointed me to this model. We did a juice fast for one week where I was juicing up to 15 times per day (and losing on average about 1 pound per day of body fat). In this circumstance, the machine pays for itself in a couple days, compared to buying cold-pressed juice from the store. Since then, I juice 1-3x per day. It works well and cleanup is pretty simple, although if you don't clean it promptly, juices that remain will evaporate and leave a hard film on some of the parts, which is difficult to clean off, especially the plastic "grates" where the juice exits. Not a big deal in my book. It would have been nice if the locking lever was positioned elsewhere (not right on top), so when you're dumping chopped up stuff into the chute (or when double-juicing the fruit/veggie "poop"), some pieces can fall into the latch area, so I have to be careful to clean the top before releasing the latch so fruit/veggie pieces don't fall and get pushed into the main body when pushing the lever down. That's really my only complaint. This unit has been solid and continues to perform well since I began using it 2-3 months ago on a nearly daily basis. Plus, my kids get a kick out of using it and always squeel in laughter when the machine poops, lol! Pics are a blend of mostly carrot and orange with a little bit of tomato, cucumber, spinach, and beet.

The price is very good, I started juicing with this juicer Sept. 3rd and use it daily. Have it for 1 month 1/2. It is quiet, not much pulp remainder. Wash parts immeddiately after juicing. Clean parts when square juice container with measurements written on it gets 1/3 full. After cleaning the parts continue your juicing. If you wait till 1/2 or 3/4 full juice container then the part that extracts the pulp can get jammed, cannot take apart causing a big problem. Don't over pack the place where you put fruit or veggie. Be gentle in pushing produce through the chute. I had a similar juicer a year ago which lasted for a couple of years. I bought it at Bed and Bath. It served me very well. Leafy greens go in easily, so do beets, carrots. Just be gentle, clean well after using. Monthly soak overnight in warm soap water. It should last for years. Great healthy juice. Easy to stay healthy. Fun to try new recipes. Enjoy.

This little guy actually makes good tasting juice, and is fairly easy to clean. But after about 6 weeks of daily use (just a single juice a day) the feed chute broke as I was using it. I tried to buy a replacement part, but they are out of stock everywhere. I went to Amazon, they told me to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Omega, and their site plainly says contact the seller. I wrote Omega anyway - and never got a reply. Judging from the pictures and reviews of others (I’m at least the 4th person to post a pic of the exact same thing) this is common with this juicer. There is a design flaw, where too much pressure is exerted on a tiny clip of plastic. Thankfully I was able to eventually work something out with Amazon, after 3 phone calls and a nasty note from the seller. Unfortunately I didn’t get a full refund - but at least I don’t have a broken juicer taking up space in my kitchen.

In no way is this a commercial level juicer, so if you have a big family or juice tons it may not work for you - but for me who just juices for hubbie and me, its been a great juicer for the money. easy to clean excpet for the metal grater in it - it does come with a handy brush that looks like a tooth brush that makes cleaning the grater easier, so there is that. Like it over all! the clear plastic parts are starting to stain orange a bit because I juice a lot of carrots, but other than that its doing super great!

First off, this is an awesome juicer. Used daily, the juice was relatively pulp free. The machine was easy to use and clean. Everything was perfect until that one morning while juicing beets the drum feeder -end cap connection broke. I contacted Omega. They were super responsive, asked for purchase proof, serial number and images of broken part. Then it was crickets...nada. I'm like whatever...let me find the part online so we can get back juicing. I ordered the part online. Couple day shipping, part arrives but it's slightly different. The end cap doesn't fit and the plunger hole is round Vs oblong. No worries, I messed up, ordered the wrong part. Go back online to look at parts. The part is not available. I understand supply chain issues, am not putting fault on Omega. I'm just bummed out. Now, I'm back to exploring options...wait for the part or buy another juicer. Getting back to the machine itself. We juiced veggies, both hard and leafy, many different fruits. The end product was excellent. Would I recommend the Omega 365? Yes, absolutely.

Don't worry about the one star reviews! Be gentle with this one and it will last long! I am happy as this is the best way to juice everyday. It is silent and easy to clean and saves a lot of money compared to other expensive ones. The pulp that comes out of the juicer is very dry which means I am getting maximum yield and it is cold extracted which means more nutrients! Comes with one extra stainer and cleaning brush. I use it everyday for ABC and green juice. Go for it!
