Gorgeous, indispensable gunpla customization tools.
You wanna make the yellow bits on your gundam gold? Apply directly with the marker, one coat, all strokes same direction. Done. You wanna make that metal look like brushed aluminum? Dispense the silver ink from the marker by holding the tip down firmly in a dish, and use a wide flat brush to apply it, all strokes in the same direction. Eye stickers no good? This green's just as reflective as those foil stickers- if not moreso! The red too. And the blue. Just put them right on those lil eyes and they'll catch the light gorgeously. Low effort with beautiful results. These are great for beginners, for experienced folks who just want some easy pre-mixed pre-thinned metallics, and just overall great. Just make sure you do it all in one coat if possible, otherwise it can get a little rough looking (unless you want that textured look! which can be handy). While these aren't made for coating large areas of your kit, you can still do it- I'd just recommend using a brush if you're intending on turning all the blue on your RX-78-2 metallic, to keep the look smooth and consistent. For small bits and details these are also great. The silver in particular is good for chipping, even just using the marker tip, though a small brush would give you more controlled results. Speaking of silver, here's a tip: when you have transparent parts, coat the entire area they're going to be on top of with the silver metallic paint. Then that transparent part will catch even more light reflecting back into it from the inside, and it'll give it some extra sparkle. You can directly apply it to the back of transparent parts too for a similar effect, but the surface it's covering works a bit better imo.

Simple to use and will really make your models pop
All you need to use these is a steady enough hand and some q-tips, toothpicks and rubbing alcohol, if you paint outside of the desired area by mistake simply rub it away with a qtip with a light drop of alcohol on it this technique is invaluable for areas like sensors and thrusters where you're very likely to paint the rim by mistake. For small areas you can rub some of the paint onto the tip of a toothpick to reach them. The green in this set is a dead on match for the green foil sticker that is heavily used in the world of Gunpla so it's a godsend for anyone who dreads placing them, the red looked a bit too pink when I first used it but the times after that produced just the perfect shade of metallic red and it looks stunning on the thrusters of my Gundam MK II, the gold is gorgeous and works great for painting in the crotch Vs that are common on UC federation mobile suits like the RX-78 and Jegan and my tip for is that to very carefully run the marker tip over only the sculpted V and use then use a toothpick dipped lightly in alcohol to carefully clean up any mistakes you might make in the end you'll find this much easier to do than dealing with the nightmare that is the yellow V sticker. The silver is more of a gray and not very shiny but will still do wonders to the dull gray used on bladed weapons and mechanical details. The panel lining marker certainly gets the job and is as simple to use as the other markers, run it over the detail you want to panel line then run a q-tip over it to clean up excess, once you do this to bring out the details on a Gundam head you'll be hooked on panel lining. With a bit of time and effort you'll have your gunpla looking better than many pre-painted action figures on the market. As other reviewers have mentioned not only should you take each marker around 50 times and press the tip down on a firm surface before using them for the first time you should also shake them about 30 times to get the best possible results, in the tip seems to dry press it down on a firm surface to get it wet again, also holding the tip pressed down will drain a bit of the paint out handy when you want to use a toothpick or brush. Another thing to keep in mind is to not to get stressed over mistakes as even a week after painting it can be removed with a steady rubbing of alcohol.

Great paint markers, the gold one is BEAUTIFUL, the silver is a little "meh"
Bought as a gift for my gunpla loving boyfriend. He really likes them! But be warned, the silver is kind of weird. It doesn't look nearly as shiny and nice as the gold one in the set. It looks less metallic and more.. watery? Other than the preference for how the silver color looks on the models its being used on, the rest of them are pretty good. Especially the gold one! Looks very very shiny, almost as if it were real gold!

Great marker set
I tested these markers on the gundam I showed and it was good. They require a steady hand or a blank gundam to where if you do mess up the stickers could help cover it or wait for them to dry and use the black marker to try and paint over it. Overall I am pleased and looking forward to my next gundam where I use no stickers and just markers.

Good pack
So the metallic silver in this set is WAY shinier than the regular one. I think that one is like.. GM04 or something. But that one is a very muted dark grey that's kinda shiny. This is METALLIC SILVER if ever I saw it. The gold is a little more muted and cold than the other one (GM05 or whatever) and the rest of the colors are on their own. They apply well, same as any gundam marker. If you're disappointed in your current silver, spend $10 and get this. They're GM151-155 I believe, minus the fine tip black marker.

This review is more about the seller than the product. The markers themselves were as expected, a great product. The care and effort the seller put into arranging the shipment is however, to be commended. The package arrived with an incredible amount of customs documentation still attached, and it was evident that a lot of care and attention was put into the packaging of the markers. Definitely the right attitude to take, and I thus highly recommend this seller.
