THESE LITTLE INDISPENSABLE DEVICES PUT THEIR PREDISEDSORS TO SHAME WHETHER THEY BE SCREW HOLDERS, MAGNETIZING UR BITS, MAGNETIC GUIDES WHICH CAN INCREASE THE DIAMETER OF UR SCREW DRIVING EXTENSION & CAN PRESENT A PROBLEM PARTICULARLY WHEN HANGING/INSTALLING CABINETS OR WHEN FASTENING DECK BOARDS BY INCREASING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN SCREW & DRIVER THEREFORE INDUCING WOBBLE WHICH MAKES STARTING SCREWS A SLOWER PROCESS & POTENTIALLY CAMMING OUT. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THESE HAVE BEEN AROUND BUT IT'S SUCH A SIMPLE IDEA THAT REALLY WORKS & CAN BE REUSED, TRANSFERRED TO MANY OF UR SCREWDRIVERS. THE TWO MANUFACTURERS I RECOMMEND ARE MILWAUKEE & THESE IN COMPARISON TO A FEW NEVER HEARD OF BRANDS ARE THE ONES THAT I'VE FOUND WORK THE BEST W/STRONG MAGNETISM EVEN WHEN DOWN FROM THE ACTUAL SCREW DRIVER BIT POINT. I LUV THESE & BUY AT LEAST ONE EVERY TIME I'M AT A BIG BOX HOME IMPROVEMENT DEPOT OR I'LL THROW ONE IN MY CART WHEN I PURCHASE SOMETHING ELSE HERE ON AMAZON.

Slips over a 2" hex shank impact driver bit and does a good job of holding a screw on the tip. With no more climbing up and down a ladder to fetch the escapee it does make a small reduction in my exercise program. A good tool at a low price

I've tried a lot of different magnetic bit holders or the ones like this that go on the bit directly, by most major brands and several cheaper no name brands. This is by far the best one for the money that I've tried! I liked the first one so much I bought another one, and will probably order another one here soon. The magnet is strong, it stays on the bits bouncing around hanging on my tool bag all day. It does fit on numerous different bits, in the pics are a dewalt Sq2 and T27 and then it fits the GRK T25 and gets a little snug on the T40. It definitely is worth the purchase, you will not be disappointed. I wish they would sell a 5 or a 10 pack of them.

This is extremely helpful when doing drywall and any other project where you are by your self. It seems to work pretty well at holding a screw in place when i'm only using one hand. It can be a bit annoying when it catches on something and tries to come off. this works really well in open spaces where you can get to everything easy. it doesn't make whatever you are using any bulkier because it is pretty small. For what it is and how cheap it is this is an great buy would buy again.

These are the best magnetic collars that I have ever found.

Low price and works. Smaller than I thought but that is a good thing. Makes putting wood screws in tight places much easier. Fit all different types of bits I tried some were wobbly but held screws okay. ✅ would buy another

Absolute garbage! Hands down the worst Makita item I’ve ever purchased. It does not universally fit, it broke after 4 minutes of use and is just a clumsy magnet which is possibly the worst excuse of a “help” I’ve used. Sure $6 but save the time, money and curiosity. It’s trash! You’d be better off taping a magnet to your tool than this novelty piece of garbage.

Works, but not strong enough for stainless Screws. Gave to a co-worker after did not hold the #8 machine screws.

It does exactly what is claimed.
