Very sharp, so be careful!
I got these to trim my livestock guardian dog. He gets lots of tangles and cockleburs in his fur and he hates the sound of clippers. He is too big to for me to wrestle with so these shears came to my rescue as they are quiet and do not scare him. I just use his brush to hold up the fur I want to cut and these shears cut his fur in one clean cut!

Would not cut hair on my dogs. The blade will not stay aligned as built .

They would not cut when I first received them, when my husband took a look at them they had a 1/2 in gap between the blades.

Nice set of Sheep Shears.
Wasn't sure about purchasing these, but wanted to have a back up set incase my powered shears went dull. So far i like them, super sharp and easy to use.

They do not cut sheep's wool!
Made nice but do no work to shear sheep! Will not cut wool.

Awesome for yard work
These are fantastic for edging and trimming in the yard. That's exactly what I got them for. My neighbor used sheep shears when I was a kid for same. That's how I learned. No single season grass shears anymore. If lucky to get an entire season out of the ones sold as grass/trim shears in the garden department. They are all cheap and never last, or even work that great when new. I've gone through many before seeing these shears here. They're sharp and I don't foresee any issues. They're so easy on the hand too. Glad I found them!
