Large test strip but, small tester .
Nice display and work perfectly for blood sugar testing . Have to buy a lancer with needles box too . Test strip came to the mail too about 10 boxes . I have my own meter don't know what to do with this meter . Might use this meter as a backup maybe don't know yet. Overall a good meter which the test strip is smaller and this have a good display too . You can read the number and letters too with no problem .

Hard to find glucose meter
We had a hard time finding this accu-chek glucose meter for my husband after our insurance changed and accu-chek tests strips is the only brand they will provide.

They seem to be battery-eaters
I was required by insurance to use this tester, and I like it. It does what it's made for and is compact. Also, the FastClix lancet device works fine and doesn't hurt to use. However, I bought this Nano to replace the one I had before, which was still working fine, but was using up a set of batteries (2 2032s) about every week (about $8). So now I notice this new one appears to be using batteries as well. Before, I went for like a year before needing a replacement. I did call the Nano service, but it seemed like too much of a hassle to get it replaced, so I ordered this off of Amazon. It arrived quickly; I used up the other one; and I started this one. But I'm confused. I'm not doing anything different -- with regard to testing -- than I have since I began using this one. There would be no point in ordering a new one every now and then.
