I have three of these mounts, for my motorcycles. With the vibe damper, and have not had my phone fall out, or my camera having any problems. Liked them so much i got a car vent mount too!

Do yourself a favor: stop looking and buy this system
A friend talked me into this system for my new Street Glide. I’m glad he did, this thing is legit. Think I found my new mounting system in all of my vehicles and toys. They offer many different mounting options for different applications. However this review will be about the handle bar mount. I opened the box and immediately seen how it mounted up. It’s very self explanatory, but for those that choose there are instructions. They offer three different mounting gaskets for the handle bar part of the mounting system. The extension arm screws onto the handle bar mount and keeps from moving by the teeth system that keep it in place. Not to worry the Alan head screws can unscrew easily if you need to adjust it, with the supplied Alan wrench. Next you mount the lock for the phone mount onto the extension arm, and it is screwed into place just like before with another Alan head screw. And it’s mounted. Easy Peezy! I bought the phone case as well, since it integrates only to its docking hardware. Works like a champ. It has survived the first 600 miles on my bike, hasn’t moved a bit. Doesn’t vibrate a bit. Doesn’t fall and phone is secure. Doesn’t allow phone to move side to side.or slide like magnet mounts. My phone is literally not going to move once it’s locked into place. The mount without the phone is very sleek and not an eyesore. It is solid and very well built. The included gaskets for different size handlebars(which appear to fit from bicycle handlebars up to fat diameter handlebars for touring bikes) are made with very good, high grade rubberized plastic. They don’t slip once the mount is tightened down. The lock itself is light blue and is actually very visible in the dark. I would think a yellow or some high VIS color would be something to think about, but it’s not bad. When the phone is on the lock the tab sticks out just enough to be seen. but not so far it’s annoying. Packaging is simple and not a pain to get into. Once you open it up, you are greeted with everything you need, including the tool. Be careful the tool is small and is not taped or secured down so it will fall out once you slide the parts tray out. The phone case has the female part of the rotating lock system integrated into the mold so there is no chance of this part falling off the case. That said quad lock does offer a stick on system for other brand cases. I chose not to go this route, due to the fact that I have always felt that that is the weakest link in any mounting system that use different brand cases. The case itself is sturdy, and it fits my iPhone 12 max pro very well. It has a protection ring around the lenses, and is raised so it is a little more difficult for them to get hurt in case you drop your phone. So I am pretty particular, and I look at about every aspect of the products I review and overall. This is a great mounting system for what I chose it for. I did spend, what I consider a fair price, but to some it can seem a little pricey. For those that say that, I would like to respond simply with this. How much money have you spent trying other mounting systems that did not work? I would expect that if you added them all up, it would be twice or more what you would have spent if you had just went this route first. That might seem to be a lofty claim but I feel it’s true. If you are a Vlogger and use your phone the make videos. This is a great system to look at as well. You can adjust this thing on three different axis on only the straight section of your handlebars. So mounting angles allow for that perfect ability to have your phone in the perfect spot to capture your desired view. No review would be complete with the downside. I honestly don’t have a lot to say bad about this system but I do seem some room for improvement. They are minuscule and minor compared to the positive aspects, but still deserve mentioning. I would like to see some color options, I.e. chrome, red, etc. my bike is chromed out and I would like my mount to match. Color options on the locking trigger would be a nice touch. As said before a high vis or even red locking tab would be a nice touch. And secure the tool inside the package tray. I would like a little bit longer extension bar but I will be changing handlebars soon so this might not even be an issue for me. The phone case is sturdy for most but there are those of us that need extra strong cases. I would like to see a more ballistic style case that offers more protection much like an otter, or something of that nature, with an integrated mount in it. Overall: this case and mounting system are worth every penny. There isn’t much I can say wrong about it. The package states that their product is, the lightest, strongest, and most secure mounting system, I would agree at this time and I am yet pleased again with my Amazon purchase.

Best mounting system for bicycle
This is the best phone mounting system that I have seen. The mount locks into a quad lock phone case. The handlebar mount is made of metal and is very secure, It does not move at all. The only problem with it is they do not make a case for the Samsung galaxy fold phones, so I use an older phone to track all the stats, and gps directions from Komoot. so much better than all of the cheep mounts that basically use rubber straps to mount onto bars and hold phone into place. I would recommend to everyone.

Perfect choice
This mount fits perfectly on my 2017 XT250. I love how it is adjustable, is flush, but locks into place so securely. When I mount my phone I can literally grab the phone and shake the entire bike and neither the mount or the phone will budge. I’ve ridden on the highway and rocky mountain roads with no concerns that it’ll come off. I don’t Have the optional stabilizer, but I don’t think I need it. I can read google maps just fine while riding. And yes, I’ve taken a slow speed spill on single track and it held up just fine. A little pricey, but better value for the money than the leading competitor, IMO.

You get what you pay for
This product is easy to mount on any BICYCLE or motorcycle handlebars. It is easy to place and remove your phone from the mount, and provides you an obstructed, fully touchable phone view. However I was most impressed with how sturdy it holds your phone (of course given you have the corresponding case/adapter). Even in the event of a crash, the phone still stays on the mount, The only drawback of course is the price.

Doesn’t instill confidence.
Plus side: Set up was super easy. It took trying a few different angles to dial it into my specific handle bars. When I did it fit on my bars like an OEM part. It didn’t obscure my view, or hit any instrumentation while operating my bike. And it looks really good and is easy to view while riding. Challenges: I really was hoping that this quad lock mount would do two things; 1) allow me to ride with my phone as navigation, and 2) be a really secure mounting point for my iPhone 13 Pro. It met my first expectation easily. The second one …not as readily. I have had the QL bicycle stem mount for a large number of years and it has never failed me or my iPhone’s over the years (on 20-30 mile bike rides). Ironically the QL Bicycle mount feels far more secure than the QL motorcycle mount (w/vibration dampener). One reason I think is because of the multi level - adjustable nature of it, and 2) its plastic with really short connecting screws. Because of the warnings of other reviews I was careful not to over tighten (potentially strip) the short plastic screw holes. This mounting system needed to perform at a very high level because no one wants to lose or damage a phone on a ride (especially one that costs $1350). Sadly, after a couple of long 40 minute rides on long sweeping country roads around Newfane, NY I was left feeling as though I needed a tether. The fact that the mount doesn’t make me feel super confident is a really big issue. Long sweeping well maintained country roads are one thing, but when I have to ride on the under maintained city streets of Buffalo, NY it will greatly increase the chance of failure. Honestly, I failed to thoroughly read the reviews before purchasing the plastic version of the QL motorcycle mount, or I would have purchased the aluminum version for sure, which I advise you to do.

I was a bit apprehensive about attaching my phone to my motorcycle in case it fell off and got smashed. But Quadlock was recommended to me by someone I trust so I bought one. They are pretty well made and the phone actually locks onto the mount so it can’t fall off. I would recommend getting a vibration damper as well so that the vibration doesn’t damage your phone. You will need the actual phone case as well of course. This all adds up price wise but it’s still a whole lot cheaper than your phone falling off the bike and smashing. You get what you pay for.
