Nice driver that dims very well.
This 12V LED driver does a really nice job with a pair of 5 meter LED strips from another vendor. With a Lutron magnetic dimmer switch supplying the driver we are able to dim the two strips down to barely visible in the dark of night. Very nice range and appears to be roughly linear in the dimming from almost-off to full brightness. The only ways to improve this would be to improve the wattage or lower the price, but driver works exactly as it should based upon specs. As for being water resistant, I have only had the unit mounted for about 2 months in a protected space tucked up in some roof rafters where it is quite well protected, so my input on that would not be worth much.

Smooth dimming with specified dimmer
Smooth dimming, runs slightly warm. Would prefer screw terminals on the dimmer rather than wire leads.

Works good but is a little noisy
Has been working good for a little under a year. It is definitely a little noisy though. I do not have it tucked away, it is up above my cupboards. If you could tuck it away it might help for the noise.

Instant on, rugged, quiet
The previous power supply I was using was one that came with the LED strip lights. It had a 3-second delay from power-on-to-12V-stable. I bought this power supply because it turns the LEDs on instantly. The housing is rugged, easy to install, and feels high quality. And, it's a pretty shade of blue :-).

Good outdoor power supply
So far, I am impressed with this power supply. It was very well built and I love the fact that it is water-resistant.I have one of these running 26 RGB stair lights for my outdoor deck. After running the lights for a couple of hours, the case is only a little warm, seems to handle the load very well.I will update this review if I have any problems after running this for a while.

Easy install, most dimmers should work. And great value.

Very nice product. Unfortunately I need 100 watt power supply. This product has no delay in start up.

Work As Advertised
Perfect for my application of one step light and five landscape lights, with a total load of thirty watts. I tend to be conservative and not constantly load power supplies with more than about half of their rated capacity. This philosophy has served me well over the years.
