After ->READING<- other reviews ....
Ordered this master link and highly recommend it. I too received the link today and fumbled with it for about a 1/2 hour until is realized there must be instructions or other tips from other users. Sure enough, one review stated that "you need to bend the chain while the link was installed in order to get the pin to snap in..." It was literally that easy, 2 min and I was done reinstalling the chain. great product and it came with 2 pcs.

Hard to get on, but it works.
The instructions are not super helpful for getting it on, but once you figure out how to do it the link works. You need to push it out in a way that the link bends slightly to get it together.

"THE" worst-design quick link I've ever tried!
Good luck trying to get this "quick link" to connect your chain. You are supposed to slide each of them from the larger end of the slot and then press them together. I'm a big guy and no matter how hard I tried, I could not get these to connect. Seems the slots just aren't long enough. I watched several videos and they all said that it's difficult and can take some "finagling", but to ""bend the chain" between your fingers to get them to pop in. No way. I nearly broke my fingers trying. I ended going with KMC quick links, which worked perfectly.

Good option
Be careful to bend the chain laterally the right way to install. That is the trick

Some people are all thumbs
These are a cinch to install or remove. Just gotta bend the chain laterally and that's it. I have no problem at all with these, then again...i always figure things out quickly.

DON'T BUY THIS
pins are bend and therefore will not go into the chain. Bought separate, inside a Shimano chain package and all are bend. Wasted time and money. Must improve inspection Shimano!

Shimano quick link too hard to use
No way could I close to second half of the link, NO WAY.... at least while it was on the chain. I closed it only separated from a chain.
