Good, but not great, for Android headunit
In hindsight, this was probably not the best harness for my application (steering wheel controls connecting to an Android headunit).The issue is that this controller wants to translate signals from the car to signals a specific HU manufacturer is expecting. Makes sense. But my HU itself is just looking for signals to which one can map the various functions. None of the preset radio configurations could send signals in a way that my HU could discern all 6 buttons consistently. For example, on some configs, my HU couldn't tell the difference between pressing the MODE button or SEEK-UP, and in others, both volume buttons were interpreted as the same.Before ripping it all out to start over, I installed the PC Axxess Updater app, connected via USB and starting with the 'METRA OE' radio profile, manually mapped buttons to different functions until my HU could interpret them all as different buttons. Then, in my HU, I was able to map the buttons to the functions I want... mostly. I'm only able to get one button to discern a single-press from a long-press. But this may be a limitation of the car.In the end, it's an expensive option to have such limited functionality. But the documentation was well-written and the device was easy to set up (or I'm sure it would be with a normal HU).If you're looking for steering wheel controls for an Android HU, this is overkill in terms of what it does and how much effort it takes to get it working.

Helps but NOT Perfect
Used to install in a 2011 Grand Cherokee. This is not so plug and play. Missing Accessory Power, Instructions are NOT good, and not able to connect all features.

saves alot of time.
some much easier than cutting up factory harness. just had to match colors are accurate for this rsdio Kenwood DDX6905S in dodge avenger ony problem was keyed voltage was 5 volt from orignal harness just had to remove 5 volts and pull 12 volt from keyed lighter.

was not a direct fit
this item direct connection was not a direct connection for my vehicle. I was able to make it work however. the customer service number I called was not helpful at all. no knowledge of how this item works.
