Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Well, I guess it was good while it lasted. While I was working out (Wednesday; May 19, 2021), the jump rope snapped at the handle and flew in the air. I received the jump rope Friday, February 12, 2021 and used it as my primary workout for cardio. Unfortunately, it lasted about 3 months and that’s unacceptable.I used the jump rope about 5 times a week, doing a 1,000 jump ropes a day. Despite the heavy usage, this bulky rope should not have snapped and broken like it did. I’ve used and owned speed jump ropes in the past that were thinner and they lasted more than a year. One would think that a bulkier rope made from PVC would have lasted longer than a thinner speed jump rope, but that is not the case.I actually enjoyed this jump rope because it is heavier and provides a good workout. The handles are nice and have a good grip unlike other jump ropes I’ve used. Overall, it's a good jump rope which can not be denied and I would recommend it to potential buyers.However, for a jump rope to last less than 4 months is unacceptable. I actually fixed it by removing the broken piece of rope and used the two white contraptions (i.e., rope adjustment buckle) to stabilize and pull up the rope in place, but the rope now is smaller and won’t work for me effectively.

Good quality product. Was easy to assemble. I am overweight and new to jumping rope so I am still getting in the hang of it. I originally purchased one of those thin and light speed ropes it turned out to be more difficult to use for a newbie like me. I couldn’t keep a steady rhythm and it would tangle easy. Not the case with this heavy rope. Would recommend this jump rope.

Being a beginner, I initially bought a very light rope made for speed........I discovered fairly quickly that I wasn't ready for that quite yet. So I did some research and found that beginners should start with a slightly heavier rope...I saw the Gaoykai Weighted Jump Rope, read the description and reviews and decided to give it a try. When I finally received it, I was happy with the ease of cutting the rope to the right length, as well as the difference in my ability to feel the rope when I jumped and the weight gives me a really good workout! So far I am very happy with this rope and would probably buy it again.

Buena calidad y buen peso, la unica razon por la que no le doy cinco estrellas es porque si no la guardas estirada cuando la quieres usar es un poco complicado al principio porque se turce un poco. Los mangos y los baleros funcionan bien. Es muy sencillo ajustarla al tamaño correcto.

This jump rope is well designed. The length is adjustable and the clamps in the handles hold the rope in place. It’s a good medium weight, It’s made of material that lasts. I use it everyday and would not change anything about it.

This is the best jump rope I've ever had. It's strong and heavy. Does make u feel u're working out

This rope is the perfect weight! I can get in a killer cardio workout in under a half hour. If you want results I highly recommend purchasing this product!

This seems to be well made and operates smoothly.

After reading the reviews I was a skeptical ...but this was the only cheap heavier jump rope I could find so I figured I'd give it a shot.Used it for over 30+ hours of heavy skipping on rough/uneven concrete. Rope shows some scratches on the surface but no cracks or major damage as the other reviewers have noted. Area near the handles also has not signs of damage (yet). Will update if it fails to see how long it lasts. So far so good....also the handles are absolute garbage (poorly cast metal covered by ugly foam ...but if all you care about is function then it works fine ...just wrap them in athletic tape like I did and you're good to go)
