HiFi is a crazy expensive hobby. I have spent much much more than this to get much smaller improvements. I am using it to power a Chord Qutest DAC and the sound improvements are substantial and everywhere - transients are amazingly better (it stops me in my tracks), detail is greater, space around vocals... amazing. The only problem is that I think it has revealed the limitations of the speakers I am using which now sound a little coloured and boxed in.... such is the life of the hifi hobbyists bank account.... STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Cette alimentation a quelques défauts majeurs : manque de basses, les instruments n'ont pas un son naturel, rythme lent et mou. Testée avec un DAC Topping E30. Mon alimentation Aqvox, qui n'est plus fabriquée, est meilleure.

Questo alimentatore è costruito a regola d'arte e chi possiede un dac topping D50s o un ampli cuffie dello stesso marchio lo deve avere per completare il sistema nella parte più importante, ovvero l'alimentazione. Il costo è quello di un buon cavo, ma la differenza in termini di prestazioni audio è sbalorditiva. Si può usare una power bank, con il disagio di caricarla frequentemente, ma lo sfondo nero e il contrasto che offre il D50s se alimentato dal P50 vale assolutamente il prezzo. Consigliato senza riserve.

Having bought a Topping DX3 Pro+ recently my mind wandered to the improvements that power supplies bring, especially over switching supplies. Normally I would make my own, but this supply was reasonably priced and versatile, as I'm able to use it to power both the Topping DAC and a Chromecast Audio, that I know to be sensitive to PSU quality. It's an elegant and well made box, that looks good, whilst providing clear sonic benefits, removing an edginess from the sound that using the standard PSU brings.
