A great purchase for one purchasing their first Test Bench Station!!
It is a great test bench for the price paid and for a first test bench purchase. The directions are clear thus making it very easy to put together. There were no missing parts. It utilizes a 120 mm case fan; some kits only come with a 80mm or 92mm fan or NO fan. The hard drive rack is adjustable and will accommodate a regular hard drive or 2 ssd(s) but separately. It will accommodate a standard size ATX motherboard and or a mini ATX motherboard. On my first build I was able to secure my Gigabyte Z97X-SLI motherboard, a I7- 4790k CPU, a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler, 2 Gigabyte R9 280X video cards, a SoundBlaster Recon 3d sound card, a 4 port usb 2.0 card, 8gb G.Skill DDR3-2400 memory, a 750 watt psu, a LG dvd drive and there are absolutely no cable management issues. There is no solid attached base. They utilize a cardboard base with a nonslip material placed on top of the cardboard to secure the power supply and dvd drive. Every computer component is readily accessible and visible. For the HighSpeed PC Half-Deck Tech Station Amazon offered this item on their site with the lowest price. There is nothing worse than building a computer system in a computer case and it won't boot up upon that initial start up and then trying to troubleshoot within the confinement of your computer case. With this test bench every component is readily visible and accessible if trouble shooting is required. This purchase has been a very satisfying experience for a homegrown pc builder.

Not worth the money
I don't think it's worth the price. The kit includes one piece of wood, and the rest of the parts are all plastic with the exception of the neoprene mat which is seen in the photo on the bottom. I know it costs money to make this stuff but at best it's $40 worth of materials. I don't want to say it's a bad product but I just don't think it's worth the money.

In my case I have bought a simple single fan cooler that is easy to install
Quality materials. The instructions are clear. Read the instructions before assembly. Comes with a fan and test switches, has rails to hold you HDD or SDD. You can assemble all your components and test them before you install into the case, can save you a lot of labor in having to uninstall a defective motherboard, CPU chip, memory or Graphics Card. You can use the stock cooler that comes with the i7 Haskell. In my case I have bought a simple single fan cooler that is easy to install,Once you have tested all your components you can install the components it into the case.Excellent test bed for a reasonable cost.

Somewhat minimal but interesting test bench project.
Quirky product purchased as "Open Box". Some odd fittings didn't quite work, but were easily remedied. The test stand is certainly functional and the fan cooled under-deck drive cage is a simple and innovative use of common materials. I'd recommend the Top Deck model rather than the Half Deck, but a bottom floor and more drive bays can easily be added.

A slab of wood, rubber bumpers, and some square pegs.
A slab of wood, rubber bumpers, and some square pegs. This is nothing like the DIYPC test bench. The motherboard rests on rubber feet and is "held" in place by a couple of plastic bolts. There is no bottom shelf, the power supply and accessories sit on a thin rubber mat. So moving this around is just about impossible. For the cost you'd do better with LIAN or DIYPC.

Great option for an unusual build
I used this to assemble components inside a cabinet. The cabinet is in my RV. A big case was not going to fit. I wanted to use my ATX MB and water cooler - six core Intel CPU.It all fits. And better yet, it works.

One of my more important tools.
This tool is in constant use; I'm constantly tearing down or building up another system and this gives me an easy access way to swap parts, test parts and generally putter about. A hobbyist necessity.

Essential tech tool! :)
I am new to building PC's. I wish I had this tech station when I built my first one. Troubleshooting a bad motherboard was so much cleaner and easier using this awesome tool! Every PC tech big or small should have one! HighSpeed PC was awesome to me when I had a question about my order too!
