Taste Your Words Hardcover – Picture Book, April 7, 2020

This is the perfect book to help kids with speaking kindly and respectfully to others. It’s engaging, interesting, and easy for kids to understand. The illustrations are also great, and the story and characters are relatable for children. Definitely recommend!

This book conveys an important message in a fun and meaningful way.

As a Christian teacher, teaching at a non religious school I wanted to teach my students about using kind words and how our negative words can not only effect others around us but also effects us. This book portrays kind words as good tasting, and unkind words as bad tasting. I think this book will help my students learn to “taste their words” before letting them out of their mouth!

Great for social emotion morning meetings!

Our three kids love it and have volunteered to read it multiple times. They range from 8 to 10 years old. The moral and illustrations are great.

This book was read to a kindergarten class. It was relatable and great for interactive discussion with the class. It really got them thinking!

As a school counselor, I love using this book in small groups or classrooms to discuss kind words. It lends itself well to discussion or follow-up activities. The illustrations are wonderful. Children are able to relate to the storyline and the lessons learned.
