Best pomade hands down
A number of years ago while hanging out with a musician friend I asked him how he made his hair so shiny and perfect, he said "American Crew, they got the best pomade." So I bought some even with the sticker shock of $20. Then, one day, I spotted TRENDstarter, which may have had a "compare to American Crew pomade" or was next to it and/or the containers are strikingly similar. That's when I did the thing that annoys me when other people do it... opened the jar in the store. Looking at Trendsetter I saw very little difference between it and the American Crew's pomade. Even better? The price was nearly a THIRD what American Crew was. SOLD! Considering I still had American Crew pomade left at home I was able to do some comparison testing to discover, not only is Trendsetter less expensive, it's way better! If you like a thick pomade that's not too sticky, holds really well, controls split ends, lasts all day, can be put in hair wet or dry, and if you love American Crew product, Trendsetter at least pomade is excellent and affordable. As far as the seller goes it came quick as Amazon usually is, their prices were less than stores, and while I ordered some to stock up I'll definitely seek them out when I need to reorder.

Great! Fragrance, a little goes a long way
I've wasted a lot of money trying to find hair products that I like. This is one I really love and will definitely stick with. It has a very light hold and a nice high shine. It only takes a tiny bit, about the size of a small jelly Bean to do your whole style. Any more than that and it tends to get a little heavy and greasy. I really liked the way it makes my super fine hair more manageable, static-free, and gives it a nice shine and smell. Definitely an item that I will use for as long as I can get it.

I am beautiful again!
My hair looks and smell better than ever, what’s left of it... Reminds me of the “just a dab will do ya,” idea used by other hair products since I use just a “dab.” This is not a "shine my hair” product as much as a “hair manager” product. It better than other products.

Awesome product
As far as pomade goes this is the best I’ve ever used. The smell alone is incredible and so so good. And shine is great the hold is perfect. It’s NOT greasy. It’s a great product wish it was a little cheaper but man it’s great!

Read the label to apply
I guess it's me not been able to apply the product accurately cause I haven't really felt the efficacy of this product

Has potentially unacceptable ingredients not listed on website!
Has lanolin in it! It’s not listed as one of the ingredients on the website but it says it on the jar!

Love This Stuff
It is hot and humid in Tennessee. I love this product -- keeps my hair in control. I used to buy it a Publix supermarket. It was located right next to a Crew pomade product in a way that I assumed that this stuff is the generic equivalent. It is WAY cheaper. To my surprise, it is also much less smelly than the Crew equivalent too! Well, Publix stopped carrying it. Thank goodness for Amazon AND it is the same price that I bought it off the shelf!
