Inspire Catholic Bible NLT Large Print (LeatherLike, Multicolor): The Bible for Coloring & Creative Journaling

Beautiful bible, this was a gift but I will be buying another one for myself! Large pages, beautiful pages to color.

Great beautiful Bible.

This Bible has absolutely fulfilled my expectations in regards to: size, note taking margins, page thickness (does not bleed through as long as you use no bleed highlighters and pens), font size, lays flat, and over all beauty! I used Mintlife decorative catholic bible tabs in pink. They add a beautiful happy appearance to my Bible. It all makes my heart so happy! The ONLY thing I would change is the NLT translation. If you are reading independently it will work just fine and helps you understand the word in a simple fashion; HOWEVER, I am using it for a “read the Bible in a year” Bible study and the translation is SO VERY different at times it’s difficult to follow along because sometimes my bible NLT seems paraphrased. A different thing I am not a fan of is that certain words are substituted. Ex. Gen 4:9 “Am I my brother’s guardian?” NLT I’ve always read it “I don’t know, am I my brother’s keeper?” NSRV, ESV, NKJV. Ex. Instead of Sheol, the word “grave” is used. These are just two examples I’ve come across so far. Soooo if this bible is just to help you understand the word, meditate on coloring and journaling, this bible is perfect! I do love it because I can sit with my other bibles to compare. 🥰

I have actually purchased and donated more Bibles than I would like to admit, I just wanted a Bible I could read and understand because it was translated in a way I could read it and this finally has happened with this Bible so I am so grateful.

It is a beautiful Bible, be forewarned as the other reviewers have mentioned the pages are very thin. It does not take away from the beauty of the book. It is bigger than I anticipated but I’m not mad about it. All in all very thrilled to start reading and coloring everyday. 10/10
