This battery has given new life to my Jukebox Zen Xtra. As someone previously mentioned, the battery is slightly smaller than the original and requires a "spacer" to ensure good electrical contact. In my case I took a small piece of scrap paper, folded it, and jammed it in. Works great.

The battery was not the same size as the original. What this means is it doesn't work in the player. The battery was shorter and wouldn't make the connection, so NO POWER. Had to fold some paper and tape it on the end of the battery so it would be long enough to work.Not quite what I ordered. They were fine about a return/refund, but that didn't solve my battery issue, now did it?The price was good until you factor in shipping. Battery $[...], shipping $[...]. Maybe it's just me, but somehow this just doesn't add up. I mean, how heavy and bulky is an MP3 battery? Let's face it, this company is low balling the price and then adding on another 50% and calling it shipping.Looking back I can see this whole episode was a big mistake on my part. Won't make that one again.Update: Osprey-Talon kept asking for info from me. I believe this was a stall tactic. They asked for info on my Creative Labs MP3 player. Then pics of the battery. Then pics of the battery in the player. I complied w/ ea of their requests, and even sent them pics of their battery side by side w/ the original Creative Labs battery. These pics made the size difference clear. I posted on ResellerRatings ([...]) to warn others and O-T counter posted saying I refused to furnish them w/ info. This was a complete lie. I find them extremely defensive and now believe they would have done nothing had I not posted both here and to ResellerRatings. After the postings they offered a partial refund, which I have now received.

I purchased 2 batteries for my Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra. They worked perfectly in my players... the only caveat, like other reviews, is that I had to shim my batteries in the battery compartment in order for the contacts to line up. Ended up using small zip ties that I trimmed to fit along one short-side and long-side to get the battery to line up.

The battery size is smaller than orginal battery for Zen Xtra player(about 0.5mm shorter than orginal) causing the battery to have loose contact. Need a spacer to secure battery connection.Seller compensated this short coming by reducing the price.

I am a college student and don't have much time to be sending things back. ANyhow this battery doesn't hold a charge and I am completely dissapointed with it. I looked at the other comments and people say this battery doesn't fit thier creative nomad mp3 players, but that if use use something to wedge in them then it works. I figured for the cheap price I would try it and guess what they are right it doesn't fit. To top it off I can't get the battery to charge at all even when I wedge something in there to hold it. I have to go back to just having it plugged in as there aren't any replacement batteries that I know of too bad...

Battery is a tiny bit smaller width wise than the original. Took all of two seconds to shim with a little piece of plastic. Total price with shipping was half of what some vendors are asking just for the battery. The screen protectors are a nice extra. Capacity seems to be a tad better than the original battery. For less than ten dollars my old Zen Xtra is back and my drive time is filled with commercial free tunes again.

Battery only lasted three months with normal use.

it does not charge not sure why though. the nomad device works plugged in but does not charge i will probably just give it away. too bad it had good tunes like morris day and the mutha f-ng times oh ohwee ohwee oh now what! on second thought i'm keeping it even with the power source hum from being plugged in which is loud REALLY loud. I still however sadly...I still wish this battery would work.
