Ok, too much waste though (bad beans), not that clean. What I received doesn't look like the photo, but it's edible.

These beans are ancient and borderline inedible
The beans were severely cracked and withered. Best by date on the bag said 2028, but I wouldn't be shocked if these beans were already multiple years old by the time I received them. Despite doing a proper overnight soak and very long simmer, they remained incredibly hard. I checked every variable in my kitchen and even used a different brand of beans as a point of reference, and the only thing that had changed was using these beans. Don't waste your money on these. I genuinely would have preferred awful canned kidney beans over these travesties
